Iran , India and the West

In my opinion the west has still not been able to digest the Iranian Revolution. Its high time they move on. They could not stop Pakistan and North Korea from acquiring nuclear weapons and forcing Iran to abandon their nuclear program is nothing but bullying. Also the ISIS has brought the west to the ground realities and suddenly they see an ally in Iran and Syria against ISIS against whom they were planning attacks not long ago. Unfortunately Indian leadership has not been strong enough to through her weight to keep the west off from the region. Iran offers tremendous opportunity for India. The Chabahar could be India's gateway to Central Asia bringing immense business and strategic opportunities. India and Iran can cooperate in space and technology sectors and invest in each other. Both the countries will hold the key to sustained peace and prosperity of Afghanistan once US withdraws from the region. If India and Iran became strategic partners, together they can ensure peace and stability in South, Central and West Asia.

Although the West is acting tough on Iran, the latter should not get entrapped in their design by making an ego issue. Military power does not give you any respect in the world but economic power takes you to the top. Given the fast changing world order Iran should allign with the change, get into the ivy league and then no one can do a thing. India can be an interlocutor for detente between the west and Iran and this will see a flurry of economic activities in Iran and by Iran and both India and Iran can make the most of the opportunity.

No, I won't. That's common knowledge. That word itself is derived from Sindhu, the vedic name for river indus. But do explain how 'allah' is a sanskrit word.

(If you really want to be intrigued, and are not just trying to troll, most words for god in most Indo-European languages originate from the same root 'dei'. Deva, daivam, dev etc in India, and deus, zeus, jupiter (Zeus-pater), and many more in Europe.)

Ah I see - you did a google search for "allah sanskrit", and copy pasted the first result that came up - a blog claiming that the Kaba was a hindu temple taken over by muslims, and that King Vikramaditya made inscriptions on the Kaba. What next, showing me a blog claiming that Washington, DC was taken over by aliens in 1996?

Sorry, but you cannot make outrageous assertions like these and expect to get away unchallenged. Could you show me any notable Sanskrit work from the past three or four thousand years, which uses the word "Allah" for god? A poem, a play, a bhashya - anything at all?

But recently india has requested Pakistan to open up route to afghanistan after pakistan denied Karzai request last year.

India already has route access to iran through other ports while with afghanistan,the trade potential even by 2060 won't exceed 20Billion dollars,leaving only turkmenistan with only a 5million people market,again not more than a potential of 5Billion dollars trade by 2090-95.

The only logical route for India into central asia is through pakistan into Afghanistna and than further
