Iran: Executions of three Iranian Kurds an outrage

you are talking about 30-40 million people who happen to be the the largest ethnic group in the world without a state and ask " Is there anything good about Kurds "

Well, it's their strategy to reproduce like animals and suck whole social benefits of their host country with zero give-back. The world's largest parasitic ethnic group without a state...

.
Shame on Iran for executing these heavily armed, AK-47 wielding "activists". It should have waited for them to throw stones, then they could be called terrorists :disagree::lol:

You know this region does not suffer , how to put it midley , from over respect to human lives.

Over 90% of the people here live under this or that forum of dictatorship , you know well that most of this rulers can put in prison execute a person for what ever reason they want simply cause they dont like his.

Today it may be from a group you don't like but tomorrow it cab be a writer or a protestor or a human rights activist.

Many innocent lives would be spared here pf you deny them the power of capital punishment altogether. So I think you and a few others here are taking the wrong moral stand.

Talking abou such a large group of people in a generalization is nothing to be proud of ...

Countries are made.upon nationalistic ideas not on ethnicities and races

.if your logic applied Rats and.Cockroaches also have largest population outnumbering humans so they deserve a.separate homeland if their demands are. Not met Rats and cockroaches they should start doing terrorism to achieve their separate homeland same case with kurds

these scumbags dont understand language and good will.. they need a strong hand and humiliation .. no mercy with such gorillas.. good job! I wished our country would do the same

. .
Let me explain my personal view about death penalty in general, not about these 3 cases. We should be careful with giving death penalties. Death penalty should only be used in exceptional cases.
If someone carries arms, but doesnt injure someone else, even if he had the intention to do so, he does not deserve death penalty, because technically he's not a murderer! He does deserve a long punishment (including forced labour), but not death. We're not God to take lives.
Also the victims family will suffer and it could create division in society and be used as propaganda against the country. Some people might deserve a second chance, some might really be fooled, some might really regret their mistake.

. .
Three words needed to sum up the responses here :

lynch mob mentality

Little wonder that the arab spring failed or that the countries in the region are always last in any human rights surveys.

Israeli talking about human rights lmao

You dare speak of human rights ?

In Iran you are ruled by dictators that have shut down all the free media , they lock at will or execute people just cause they feel like it , so what human rights are you talking about ?

True we may have a conflict with the palestinian that needs to be solved hopefully with a peace agreement.

But as far as human right and freedom are concerned , your country is far far behind.

Just check the freedom house report score on each country here , you will see your country not falling far behind north korea :

the score is Most free - 0 least free 100

I did not look at your links.

I wasn't comparing or saying Iran has a great human rights record.

But Israel can't lecture others on human rights. That's it.

So following your own logic you too should be barred from discussing this topic ?

I can see that not all Iranians agree with you on this matter.

This is what prominent iranian human rights lawyer , Nasrin Sotoudeh had to say :

From Evin Prison, Attorney Nasrin Sotoudeh Condemns Iran’s Execution of Three Kurdish Prisoners

In a letter from Iran’s Evin Prison, prominent human rights attorney Nasrin Sotoudeh has condemned the judiciary’s execution of three Kurdish prisoners on September 8, 2018, despite serious concerns regarding the use of torture, forced confessions and denials of access to counsel in all their cases.

Sotoudeh said the executions of Ramin Hossein Panahi (22), Zanyar Moradi (29) and Loghman Moradi (31) are a reminder of Iran’s mass executions of political prisoners in the summer of 1988 without due process.

“On the anniversary of the 1988 massacre, Iran’s judiciary has executed three Kurdish compatriots —compatriots who have been under decades of oppression and faced many miseries,” said Sotoudeh’s letter sent to the Center for Human Rights in Iran (CHRI).

“The sentences, issued by the Revolutionary Court in a blatantly unlawful judicial process, were unfair and in violation of human rights principles as well as the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” she wrote.

Sotoudeh, who has been detained on trumped-up national security charges since June 3, added that the three prisoners had gone on hunger strike prior to their executions to bring attention to the denial of due process in their cases.

“Zanyar and Loghman Moradi, as well as Ramin Hossein Panahi, were on hunger strike for many days when they were taken to the gallows—further evidence of the violence inherent in the Iranian judicial system which is supposed to avoid any kind of violence,” Sotoudeh wrote.

She continued: “I express my condolences to our dear Kurdish compatriots, who have always played an important role in enriching Iranian culture, as well as to all our compatriots, and especially the honorable families of Moradi and Panahi, and I hope that paying sufficient attention to different aspects of judicial violence would lay the necessary ground to reject all types of violence.”

Sotoudeh has also been on hunger strike since August 26 in protest against the harassment of her family and friends, and the judiciary’s refusal to allow her a full and fair defense against the various charges she is facing.

Her husband, Reza Khandan, has been detained since September 4 for speaking publicly about his wife’s

No, because these terrorists have rightly faced the consequences of their crimes. I call bullshit where I see it. The bullshit is you claiming that these "activists" should have had a second chance (at terrorism).

This is Mana Neyestani take on this subject

Maybe Ms. Sotoudeh is not aware of who these terrorists actually are.

.
This is serious violation of human rights even they were denied to access their own lawyer. Iran should not violate international laws & work against humanity & basic rights.
