A lot of the problems in Pakistan are related to the fact that the 2 ethnic groups at the top of the hierarchy are unwilling to admit that we have an elevated status in Pakistan. I have some possible but unproven pashtun background too but as an urdu speaker I recognize the status my language urdu has in Pakistan. Its the language of barely 8% but has a high status in the country. The problem is Balochi and to an extent Pashto is barely taught in schools all over Balochistan. Local people deserve to learn in their own language. Also even if Balochi is taught it does not offer many opportunities. Even I have never seen anyone in my family receive education even in urdu as it does not offer many career opportunities and where available these opportunities are available the problem is low pay. Now if this is the situation with urdu what will be the case of smaller languages which do not have state patronage like Balochi and Brahvi.
Its our divisions that are a problem too. I have noticed the Jamalis and Zehris of Balochistan are extremely patriotic. Some from other parts are more inclined towards seeking their rights. Others want independence though being from Balochistan you would know they are a tiny minority.
I don't think Balochs seeking their rights are a problem as the Punjabi elite treats them. Its everyones basic right to have a Pakistan that is equal. But I think patriotism is also an important thing. We should have a national outlook too. If we did not for example we wouldn't think about the damage terrorist parties like MQM have done to Pakistan which my ethnic group votes for without thinking. Balochistan's predicament is also the fact that it is divided between Pashtuns and Balochs. Pashtuns vote Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party and Baloch vote is divided though among Karachis Baloch community I have witnessed support for PPP which I honestly despise. But hey who am I to question the core reasons for voting PPP.
u.
Thanks for enlightening the language opportunities .
In my opinion , balochistan people voting for PPP is because PPP preserves the rights of baloch amd doesn't discriminate or pressurise their language or rights , that is why and because bilawal has often came to balochistan and addressed , benezir bhutto has a very higher importance in the uneducated parts of balochistan. but these naive people forget that PPP did nothing good for balochistan because it had leaders like aslam raisaani .
I can't think about other reasons .
I personally favor abdul malik baloch as the cm , he was a very good person that balochistan lost .
He knew the importance of education and no one except abdul malik worked for education in balochistan.

Oh yeah. I heard. Just forgot. Guess its been some time that's why. Though dunno why I remembered Saba Dashtiari and others.
Yes.

Agreed.
Sure must be. Never been there. But am keen to learn. Which party you or your family vote for and what is your tribe? I like BNP and student groups like BSO Pajjar. Mengal is one hell of a leader.
Aameen. Good talking to you.
I'm from jaffarbad, my tribe is jamot, also called bhangar .
I've never voted as I was too young and didn't have cnic, but now I have it and I'm in favor of imran khan , I would like to see imran khan ruling us .
My father also likes imran khan .
But I can't say about my other relatives in the village , I've seen them doing what their leader tell them to do . If thrir lwadera tell them to vote for PPP, they'll vote without thinking . There's not much education and awareness and people have zero knowledge about politics .
When zardari came to jaffarbad, they got happy amd decided to vote , bilawal bhutto also impressed them by speaking some supportive words .
My uncle decided to go for politics , he has joined PPP and is standing up for election but I m not unhappy because he's a good man from quetta and has good intentions . The reason he chose PPP was because no other party other than PPP is known there . Here's he .

Unfortunately, my other uncle who's a wadera is in conflict with him , he's corrupt , steal rights of poor . He want to win election for money .. recently he verbally abused him for standing in elections .
BNP is trash , they got their tenure but did nothing for province . Now all they do is blame others .
