Anyhow, since @PakSword and @Signalian have been promoted ...and well earned at that.... both need to offer us couple of rounds of PakDishes of our choice... sans AlloGosht which must be banned now forever!
The proper way of eating Aalu Gosht ka patla wala salan is by putting soaking roti pieces in salan and eating those pieces.
Well pulao is much better.. especially when my mother used to make it. Pulao jaisi dish nahi hai koi.Honestly, I did not even know what Biriani was until I was in my 30s. Pilau [meat, onions, almonds, raisins, with yougurt was a Eid or wedding standard. Now it appears to be rage on PDF at any rate.
I will. I guess I need to try it and then be in a position to judge it. How differant is it from pilau?
Biryani is entirely different. Pulao is cooked in yakhni, Biryani is made with Qorma. Both are entirely different dishes. My favorite is pulao.
