Interview: Bangladesh PM says Chinese president's visit to usher in new era in bilateral cooperation

There is no need for BD to get involved in Pak-India issues. Kashimiri fighters do have a cause for Uri attacks, no matter it's from Pakistan side or Indian side. I believe that Xi would reiterate China's stances to Hasina on Pak-India relation, anti-terrorism, as well as Kashmir issues.

Just because this Pakistani forum attracts more of Jamati and pro-Pakistani variants doesn't mean that all Bangladeshis are like that.

so you represent Bangladesh not the Bdeshis? and if the same Pakistani forum can tolerate your kind, it can also tolerate Awami league (Hasina) supporters..

Bangladesh playing well with all side without losing anyone . we need to reap benefit from the conflict of interest going on between different country like China Japan US India without taking side or closing too much with anyone .

You are smarter than others, I guess.

Zia is the two times former Prime Minister, Her Husband was also president who Started good BD-China relation for the First time after China's initial refusal to recognize Bangladesh . That is why both of them are frowned upon by Pro India group. Anyway Chinese President will make his way to Zia's house today though She doesn't hold any constitutional position.

Is Russell correct when he says that Zia is also pro-India? Not that it matters much here, just curious.

Hasina's Awamileague is very friendly with Congress. So Zia thought She would be able to weaken Awamileague Rule with the Help of Modi the then new Prime Minister of India an enemy of Congress. But Modi decided to remain friendly with Hasina and didn't entertain the Idea of being cozy with traditionally anti India Zia. So the adventure ended there. Nothing Else.

No, she is not. There are quite a few illegal (awami) regime, led by Hasina, cheerleaders in this forum. Russel is one of those people trying use such lie.

When Khaleda Zia last visited China Xi was interested to build strategic leadership with Bangladesh. It is learned Xi knew Khaleda Zia's husband late President Ziur Rahman and met him few times.

At any rate, current relationship will just be based on financial transaction where Bangladesh gets loan, there will not a strategic partnership with China so long indian stooge regime in power. But strategic relationship is what both people of Bangladesh and China would prefer.

Try to be more coherent next time.

Yeah we know Bengstanis hate us intensely, for the exact same reason Pakistanis hate us, however irrational it might seem. Only name's changed, Bengstanis still retain their Pakistani mentality in their hate towards us.

Thanks, now teach this to your fellow bengali, who want others to believe that BDeshis on this forum does not represent BD..

Not a fan of Hasina, but the country of Bangladesh certainly has one of the best prospects for economic development in the near future. Colossal potential.
i thought china is more interested in making money than hating people.
you have a large valued client. treat them well.
oh and dont forget to slide in some xcmg brochures too with the contract too.

I have no idea who Begum Zia is. Is he another Indian?
I think he's talking about Begum Khaleda Zia, Sheikh Hasina's rival

No sane human being should be a fan of a mass-murderer, an illegal power grabber, looter and conniver of second to none in BD's recent history.

Imagine coming to power by the enemy funded Lathi-Baita's (Baton, Wood's bat) mayhem just to sell the country to its majority-people's mortal enemy then looting of stock market, banks just to degrade its thirsting middle class to dirt poor and then abducting, jailing, hanging patriotic leaders on phony charges to strengthen her and her master's grip on power. Also mortgaging country by taking $$ 25 B as loan; are being equating as the development's cost of a country.

She has made over 80% people hostages by gun's point to treat them as slaves. Her role in BD is similar to the one of pre-47's Hindu Jamideer's AKA BRIT'S jacks. Now, please pray to comrade XI just to have mercy on us and not to disburse a single penny to such traitor without proper surveying the cost, viability of proposed projects.

Funny how most of the people raging against Bangladesh don't even live there.

I suspect they have no stake in the country's future, which is why they try pull it down so carelessly. Sadly for them, it's increasingly difficult to maintain the lie that Bd is deteriorating - and now the Chinese pm's visit leaves them even more isolated.

For this the Chinese govt deserves our thanks.
