I am here. Again, I have made myself clear: india doesn't have any knowledge about KKV, thus the so called anti ballistic missile project is just another joke.

let's be honest, india even couldn't build its own surface-to-air missile comparable to S-300, how india is going to build much more complicated anti ballistic missile systems?

India have tested hit-to-kill based KKV years ago. Now you want to troll that what can others do? lol

India is not like China that stealing others technologies and give it a name. We have our own SAM, Akash.

Our PAD also have literal thrusters in its KKV. PDV also has infrared seeker.

India successfully test-fires interceptor missile


India successfully test-fired indigenously developed interceptor missile, capable of destroying any incoming hostile ballistic missile, today from Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Wheeler Island off Orissa coast.

"Aimed at developing a full fledged multi-layer Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) system, the trial was carried out from two launch sites of ITR off Orissa coast," defence sources said.

Describing the trial as successful, they said the whole exercise is to achieve "desired result with precision".

The 'hostile' target ballistic missile, a modified surface-to-surface 'Prithvi', was first lifted off from a mobile launcher around 0933 hours from the launch complex-3 of ITR at Chandipur-on-Sea, 15 km from Balasore.

Within four minutes, the interceptor, Advanced Air Defence (AAD) missile positioned at Wheeler Island, about 70 km across sea from Chandipur received signals from long ranging tracking radars installed along the coastlines, and then travelled through the sky at a speed of 4.5 Mach to a definite altitude over the Bay to destroy it, sources said.

"After the launch of 'target' and 'hit' missiles from their launch sites, detailed results and the 'kill' effect of the interceptor were being ascertained by analysing data from multiple tracking sources," a Defence Research Development (DRDO) scientist said soon after both the missiles roared in to the skies leaving behind a thin white ribbon of smokes.

"While the interceptor designed for endo-atmospheric condition (up to 30 km altitude) is a seven-meter long and single stage solid rocket propelled guided missile, equipped with an inertial navigation system, a hi-tech computer and an electro-mechanical activator under command by the data uplinked from sophisticated ground based radars, the interceptor designed for exo-atmospheric condition is a two stage missile," sources said.

Yeah and yet china has only ever tested Balistic missile defence system once even though they have possessed this technology for last 50 yrs

50 yrs ago , even the US didnot have any adequate capability to defeat balistic missiles thats coz the only country capable of hitting US ie USSR only had like 50 ICBM compared to US with over 450 ICBMs in late 1950s early 1960s

Ballistic Missile defence programme of USA began during Reagan Administration in early 1980s so as to defeat soviets which were at the peak of there power at that time
I am sure u have not heard of the Star Wars Programme Initiated by Ronald Reagan thanks to the IRON curtain and usual chinese propaganda

I am pretty sure u guys dont know that the only country known world wide to still use propaganda is china
even pakistan gave up on propaganda after end of Zia ul Haq regime
