Even thou lots of changes and improvements will be made in later version of teams . Conclusion stands out :D

Conclusion

The Tejas is a light multirole fighter fit for the 21st century. It uses a lot of new technology and innovation, such as its use of large amounts of composite materials, its advanced avionics system and its unique aerodynamic configuration. In terms of functionality, the LCA Tejas has good potential to be expanded into variants. For example, at a time when the air force version is yet to be commissioned widely, a ship-based version of the aircraft has already been released. The Xiaolong is a third-generation model designed for the international market. The use of off-the-shelf materials not only cuts costs but also reduces risks in the design process and improves the reliability of the aircraft. This will not make it the best aircraft, but rather a standard, cheap and reliable model for air-to-air combat. In summation, the Xiaolong is the aircraft of today and the Tejas is the aircraft of tomorrow.:cheesy:

well sir tejas programme was as good as dead before NDA 1 came to power and ABV restarted it in late 1998 and it first flew in 2001 first please take that into account then the greedy MOD & IAF beurocracy used all dirty triks in the book to scuttle the programme thats the main reason for delay as for countering JF 17 well i dont think things will ever come to point when tejas and JF17 will ever come face to face

THE TEJAS:
Technologically so superior that even IAF don't wish to use it today because "Tejas is the aircraft of tomorrow"
As the wise men said "Tomorrow never comes", so is the Tejas.
Becharay ke kismat photi hai

Peace to burning heart.

For our IAF even F22 have to be changed to be inducted . When whole world hailed Su30 series India asked for MKI .And world watchs how su35 and PAKFA can do our IAF want more powerful config of the same . India has most stringent standards when it comes to procurement process. This is what happen when you have too much options st your doorstep. But it also delayed our induction process

The frame of LCA is a derivative of Mirage 2000. It's an 80s plane is upgraded electronics and material. And it's meant to replace mig 21.
so whats your point maam ?

does it in any way downgrades LCA with regards to job it is intended to play in any conflict with PAF

as for its design well even the rafale is a delta wing but the main asset of LCA is its futuritik modular design specially with regards to its avionicks and sensor suits

And still your media say it a futuristic aircraft. Now decide who is right You or your media who published this elaborated article.

I'm as Chineses as mike 2000. Just because I'm no pro Indian make me a Chines.lol

When their AF won't even want LCA and Modi force their AF to take them, their egos are sounded so they resort to bragging.
Comparing two fighters with whatever specifications/information available in public domains is fine with me but sarcastic comments for no obvious reasons are beyond me. Post#5 was totally unnecessary and so were #10-13, 20, 21 and it continues.

IAF also wants F22 but can MOD or PMO give them that ?

be realistic maam tejas is a point defnce fighter and a gap filler while the real job would always be done by the big boys of the IAF like MKI ,M2K & Fulcrums and rafles & FGFAs in future
