yes you are on the spot Mr you are developing test platform for next gen fighter of yours eg:AMCA

For a company which has failed to develop a basic jet trainer the goal of developing a 5th gen multirole "stealth" combat aircraft is an unrealistic dream at best.

its better to keep trying tha nto do nothing and just critisise every one like a grumpy old women ;)

hey mister false flagger did Narender Modi or Maohar parikker told you that themselfs :D

No need to burn taxpayer money

False flagger? reported.

Tejas does not serve any military utility as of 2015. It would have been non-obsolete a few decades ago

JF 17 has been the jointly developed since its scratch.
JFT uses Chinese Radar, Russian Engine. PAK+Chinese Design, Pak+Chinese Avionics and softwares.

TEJAS has alway been announced with "Made in India" sensationalism.
US FBW and RSS technology
Still uses US Engine
French Design
Israeli Radar
Indian subcomponents and(Not much known about that in details)
still after multiple decades its still not operational yet and its block-II is in development without inducting block-I.

"Tejas is aircraft of tomorrow". Please even if it get operational with its all capabilities, it will be as good as f16 block 50/52 or may be lesser. thats already an old tech and now people talk about Rafael/EF200 and more ahead f35/j20/PAKFA. so pleas the article writer seems to be much sensationalized by the Indian claims.

Thunder block 3 is under way with AESA radar make it even more powerful and new engine also in pipeline for thunder so no worries thunder is way ahead tjeas launched in 83 not completed yet thunder launched 95 not only completed it is battle hardened

Thunders been inducted like dhruv of ours ..,
So even a minor upgrades makes it into next block, new capabilities,
Tejas is yet to achieve it , hopefully after Foc we ll also enjoy..

And you get 27 thanks for your idiotic post. This in itself reveals so many things.
So Mr HariPrasad give me one question's answer please why Indian fan boys called your beloved crappy little LEAST CAPABLE AIRCRAFT your indigenous junk, in your bloved crappy little LEAST CAPABLE AIRCRAFT uses 95% to 99% foreign made parts and software and hardware, and you called it your indenginous product what a poor little indians

Conclusion

The Tejas is a light multirole fighter fit for the 21st century. It uses a lot of new technology and innovation, such as its use of large amounts of composite materials, its advanced avionics system and its unique aerodynamic configuration. In terms of functionality, the LCA Tejas has good potential to be expanded into variants. For example, at a time when the air force version is yet to be commissioned widely, a ship-based version of the aircraft has already been released. The Xiaolong is a third-generation model designed for the international market. The use of off-the-shelf materials not only cuts costs but also reduces risks in the design process and improves the reliability of the aircraft. This will not make it the best aircraft, but rather a standard, cheap and reliable model for air-to-air combat. In summation, the Xiaolong is the aircraft of today and the Tejas is the aircraft of tomorrow.

LCA will always be the aircraft of tomorrow.
