UN is trying to mediate a settlement for peaceful election. UN/US still have the dominance over BD army as BD is one of the largest contributor to UN peace keeping missions. US/EU have already made there stance clear that they want to see a inclusive credible election while UN HR arm warned AL for the human rights violation going on. But the only country backing AL agenda is India and this is making Hasina stick to her plans of holding on to power no matter what.
