Just proves the point that Intel agencies are porous.. this makes them a part of the problem.

Nobody is denying a security lapse, that makes us responsible. But we also need to nab the culpable party here.

Agreed 100 %

Its about time we ALL stopped this " spy Vs spy" game & come out in the open, accept the fact that there IS a prob in our region which if not solved / snuffed collectively will devour us all & ruin the lives of generations that follow.

Indian Army-Issued Weapons used in Lahore Attacks

Thursday, 05 March 2009 04:42

Sources have informed PKKH that weapons recovered in the aftermath of the Lahore attacks on Sri Lankan cricketers include a Russian made RPG-22, a one-shot disposable anti-tank rocket launcher and an 84 mm Carl-Gustaf Recoilless Rifle Launchers.
Both these weapons are standard Indian Army issuance.

The RPGs used by Afghan militants is the soviet era RPG-7 - the most widely distributed and used RPG in the world.

I like that too. Our generation, has been ruined with an unholy hostility, between the two nations. Future generations will be defined by what we do today.

They needed an armor piercing weapon as the bus could've been Armored. The use of the RPG-22, especially points towards India's RAW.

However that is not enough for a conviction, of sorts. Some of the gunmen need to be captured alive.

Yeah ... RAW is so dumb that they leave evidence all over the crime scene. If it is really done by RAW they must have used some third party ammunition not IA issued ones to keep investigators guessing. I think who ever done this must have got the rubbish idea from "tomorrow never dies" where the british soldiers are killed using chinese military ammunition.

Actually the reports suggest that the militants were fired upon by the injured policemen and they were forced to flee. The RPG-22 is an Indian issue, and not in the possession of the Taliban.

Its not hard to get a Indian issued RPG-22 or else the Russian or American issued counterparts in the black markets. If intelligence agencies start doing these kind of silly mistakes, then there is no point in calling them intelligence agencies. I am not arguing that Taliban did this attack but by some one who did not think intelligent enough that leaving an Indian issued equipment at the crime scene is dumb strategy to make RAW responsible for this attacks.

If ISI can be dumb by Indian account to leave ID cards on spot in India then RAW is a known dumb to plan some dumbest plots.

The report which had been exposed by Ansar Abassi clearly showed the Indian hand.

It was India at official level that had objected and tried to bully Sri Lanka not to send Cricket team to Pakistan.

The political rift caused the security laps here but that does not mean we should not question the role of INDIA.

There are also reports according to which INDIA is using LTTE to train Indian-funded terrorists from Indian-funded Balochistan Liberation Army (terrorist group) .

Indian friends happy accepted that Mujahideen killed in occupied Kashmir had pakistani cinema tickets in their pockets - that they had pakistani candy wafers in their pockets as proof of Pakistani complicity -- but now of course the shoe is on the other foot and perhaps Indian friends will realize.

Anyway indian weapons or weapons used by Indian forces are not exactly hard to come by.

There should be hell to pay, regardless of who it turns out was responsible, don't you agree?

There was this huge security failure . At least agree to that. RAW is a very large organisation. Given the level of security given to this high value target, even Dombivali hawaldaars with their .303 guns could have done what the terrorists done.

As I said many times , 'apne gerebaan mein jhaak ke dekho'. The lack of security is what caused this terrorism and heads should roll. Blaming RAW is childish. If you leave the doors of your house open, toh phir chor toh ghusega hi !!

First, ID cards that are found at the scene are carrying fake names and ISI ( or who ever it was ) didn't expect any one to be caught alive.

Yeah, he is the james bond and he finds the Indian hand in this plot by conducting super duper investigations. Let his findings are included in the dossier that is going to be submitted to Indian Govt.

It was India at official level that had objected and tried to bully Sri Lanka not to send Cricket team to Pakistan.

If at all BCCI or Indian govt wants to take revenge on SL team they would have done this more efficient way by financially blocking SL Board or Politically crushing Ranathunga

bla bla bla bla .....
