India's Policy to Isolate Pakistan Has Failed, Says Pak Media
Islamabad

India's policy to isolate Pakistan globally has failed, as foreign countries are showing a keen interest to invest in the country, the Express Tribune said in a report.

It alleged that the larger objective of New Delhi's aggressive approach is to dissuade Pakistan from taking the potential benefits of China's massive investment and discourage foreign investors from investing in projects in the country such as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The report added that India's policy has failed, as about a dozen companies from a single European country alone have recently decided to venture into Pakistan.

Highlighting foreign investments in Pakistan, the report said, in April, a delegation of the Association of French Entrepreneurs, known as MEDEF, visited Pakistan to explore the possibilities of investment in sectors such as automobile, oil and gas, energy, water management, engineering and microfinance.

The minutes of the meeting and discussions held between the French delegation and Pakistani interlocutors revealed that at least nine top companies decided to do business in the country, it added.

Multinational automobile manufacturer Renault is now contemplating to build its own manufacturing facility at the Port Qasim, it said adding, Suez Group, a world leader in water and waste management, is keen to enter into an agreement with the government of Sindh for improved water supply to Karachi.

Listing other investments it said, Credit Agricole, one of the largest French banks, has upgraded Pakistan's Rish Model by two levels, French global energy player, Engie, was awaiting response from the Pakistani side for the supply of LNG through a government-to-government contract, Axen, a petrochemicals and natural gas company, has expressed willingness to expand its presence in Pakistan and French airport engineering and design company, ADP Ingenierie, which is already associated with the new Islamabad airport, has showed interest in Gwadar, DI Khan and Muzaffarabad airport projects.

The report also quoted a senior foreign ministry official as saying, "Even the allies of India are not toeing its line on Pakistan." (ANI) :enjoy::china::pakistan::smitten::cheers::cheesy::rofl:

Which policy?
Regional peace, regional balance, regional bomb, regional dispute,
Feel important and assume world as small as you can.
It alleged that the larger objective of New Delhi's aggressive approach is to dissuade Pakistan from taking the potential benefits of China's massive investment and discourage foreign investors from investing in projects in the country such as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Why do Pakistanis overhype this project that much? India's own freight corridor is worthing around $300 billions, Mumbai Delhi industrial corridor $90 billions etc. but you won't find Indians jumping over it and shoving this irrevelent topic up everywhere.

So far, India has only problem with CPEC related to territorial dispute, it hasn't responded anywhere else.
The report added that India's policy has failed, as about a dozen companies from a single European country alone have recently decided to venture into Pakistan.
Which policy? Or just for your d!ck measuring competitions with world's largest Greenfield FDI Destination India, Pakistan is failed against that.

May be Pakistanis getting FDI a great news for them but couldn't it have been informed without shoving India?:D

Seriously, if India wanted to hurt Pakistani economy, it would have withdrawn MFN till now causing you annual loss of about $7 billions but India isn't concerned about that.

India finds itself isolated in Asia

India has been a vocal critic of CPEC and any other factors that bring Pakistan and China closer together. New Delhi, which views China as a threat to its key role in the region, has been seeking new allies in the region to counter Beijing’s growing influence.

After enjoying a decades-long friendship with its major and most reliable ally, Russia, today no official in Indian leadership can be certain of the strength of their ties with Russia anymore. One can argue that India should blame its own policies and particularly its decision to seek closer ties with the United States – Russia’s traditional rival – for losing Moscow’s support.

In fact, Russia reacted to India’s shift toward the U.S. almost immediately and has pursued closer ties with India’s traditional enemy, Pakistan, despite decades of cold relations between Islamabad and Moscow since the Cold War era. At the other end of the issue are India-U.S. ties. While the U.S. seems hellbent on supporting India to counter China’s growing influence in the region, it has made little effort to build a strong partnership with the South Asian nation and has given no guarantee that it would back India in any regional conflict, be it with Pakistan or China.

.
who has invested huge amount in Pakistan other than so called China's investment ? so called bcoz China is investing to suck blood out of Pak economy and not to build its economy....china carries its own men and machinery in their projects abroad...so Pak will gain nothing and become a slave to China..

may be countries are not openly speaking to Isolate Pak as most strong countries are allies of US and they know Pak is needed to establish final peace in AF....

Even Ummah gave chummah. They invite you then humiliate you..

We will be when our trade volume in Asia stops being 55% of our total.
Or Russia, who's no longer a major economy becomes major trade partner.

Because a country like Pakistan, yet to complete it's diplomatic network or without an email of foreign embassy for years must not call other isolated.

You guys thought India was isolating Pakistan? No, Pakistani FO had no email to contact other countries.

This uncertainty in relations with both the Russians and Americans makes India isolated in the region.

Pakistan and Russia, China has sought closer ties with both Bangladesh and Myanmar, further fueling India’s fears about an expansionist China, both along the Himalayas and in the Indian Ocean region.

U.S. and Japan are masters of India and using India as their slaves to contain China in the Asian region and have no respect for India’s strategic interests there.

Masters..Slaves.. where are going ?

If anything, its Indian orders that keeps jobs secure. India does things that suit Indian interests & does no U Turn on a phone call.

Essentially, money talks . Poor cousins who keep asking for more are only tolerated in a family , not appreciated.

For those wanting to see Pakistan isolated in the international arena such as Indian Terrorist Prime Minister Darendra Modi, nothing could have been more frustrating than to watch the multinational Pakistan Day celebrations. To show solidarity with Islamabad, China and Saudi Arabia unprecedentedly sent their troops, while Turkey sent a band to participate in the 77th Pakistan Day parade. South Africa’s Chief of the National Defence Forces General Solly Zacharia Shoke was also in attendance and authorities in Dubai decided to decorate world’s tallest tower Burj al-Khalifa with the colours of Pakistani flag on the occasion. :enjoy::lol:

In October last year, India faced a setback over its policy of isolating Pakistan at the BRICS Summit in Goa, attended by head of states from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. :enjoy::lol:

Trump slap to India had lobbied in the US to sanction Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism, but the global power refused as it acknowledges Pakistan has been engaged in a serious fight against terrorism. :enjoy::lol:

New Delhi also tried to interrupt Pakistan-Russia ties and urged Moscow to not carry out a joint military exercise in Pakistan. Nevertheless, the Indian plea was frustrated by Moscow. :enjoy::lol:
