Arihant will only now be used as a trainer.... why do you think after showing it off in 2000s and took time to deploy... they're studying arihant and improving the product on the sister ships..

It was an open public spectacle.

I read and laugh...
In nuclear deterrance there is no such thing as "Quietly inducted" Nuclear armed submarine.
Deterrance means you have to show it off, so that enemy knows what you got and stays away.
If they had really inducted Arihant, it had been the biggest brag party of Modi's era.
Plus no photos ever surfaced of the submarine.
So i don't think Arihant is sailing, and definitely not armed yet as K-15 is also not ready.. They only fired the missile from Pontoon and not a single evidence of any testifier from the submarine.
If they had fired it from the submarine, they had shown it.

Till date there are no Clear photos of our sub, it's a nuclear submarine...

At first, I heard the reactor was underpowered, now it had a crack? Was it an accident or a design error or manufacturing defect? Probably a combination/
