Electric furnace creates least amount of pollution and best option for dignified cremation in a densely populated country such as India.

When compared to entire areas becoming Kabristhan which can be otherwise used for housing people or building offices, thats a small price to pay.

it is only one of the way to produce electricity , in our place it is hydro electricity ....so no pollution..

That's quite a foolish argument because than we might have to stop using electricity for every other purpose. Burning 1 dead body(like 3 hrs) uses less electricity than a family watching TV per day.

The Wakf board is the largest landowner in the country after the Central Govt. in India, so do the Churches which has large lands donated during the British rule. If any person find it difficult to get a piece of land its mainly because of the corruption of the members in these Boards who rather sell it to politicians and builders.

I was watching a documentary that many American Christians have shifted to Cremation instead of burial because graveyards are too costly and even Chinese rely on Cremation.

In India they sure are stopped from burial. But land is COSTLY. Or they want burial by khairat?
