What the hell is taking India so long to send in the military!!?? In the US if one of the right wing militias even dared to start an armed uprising the military would be sent in by president who would invoke the Insurrection Act. What is India waiting for until they take more territory or launch a major offensive in India? They need to send in their full military might to crush the Maoist if not it will get even worse down the road.

I do understand your due enthusism about introducing tactical weapons in this conflict where oppressed people are fighting just to live, but after giving due credence to your thoughful approach I strongly belive at this juncture Aryan_B's proposed "No fly Zone" along the Red Corridor should suffice.

Because there is no consensus in India that sending military is the best way to fight insurgency.
Apart from being considered immoral and unethical to use armed forces against poor and illeterate people, many are also highly skeptic that they can win the war on hearts and minds of people.

Is not these poor and illiterate people who killed 76 CRPF jawans who were sleeping in their camps in Dantewada. It was nothing short of a pre planned , well executed murders committed in cold blood. Sorry to say bhai..this is the type of attitude that bolsters Maoists in carrying out these types dreadful acts.

Maoist firepower is highly exaggerated. The key is the terrain in which they fight, and local knowledge is essential in fighting them. Armed forces do not bring any of those skill. Lastly Indian army does not want to get bogged down in another internal conflict like J&K.

Maoists are a cancer to Indian Society. Chemotherapy does not seems to be working. Its time to bring in the Surgeon.

another delusional post..its Rashtriya Rifles,not "Kashmir Rifles"..and it is a paramilitary unit..not an Army unit.and you want to provide tanks to a rebel group???are you have means to transport it from china to andhra pradesh???and your post supports that China has sympathy(and may be they help them too) towards rebel groups in india that Indian Media long accused.

A No fly zone for what? There is no IAF assets utilized there for logistics or attack, the only thing used there is tactical reconnaissance UAVs.
