Good fence make good neighbors. India should just build the fence and heavily militarize the border. Sure it would cost decent amount of money, but will save India this PR headache.

I mean look at India-Pak border for example. Sure there is gunfire and artillery exchange once in a blue moon but at least you don't hear about BSF harassing Pak nationals or Rangers harassing Indians for that matter

You dont have courage to do that in case of Pakistan because we know how to respond " Eeint KA jawaab pathar se" but in case of Bangladesh there is no one to respond and Bangladeshis dont have courage to respond to Indians.

Your country is weak in defence and India is just hiting you for that reason. they make you weak and will try to make you weaker. If you would have a strong defence lthey would never have courage to do this.
