1.India has spent almost $70 million, including equipment costs, to completely repave and extend the runway at Ayni, set up air traffic control and perimeter fencing and build three hardened shelters -- all, the Indian official confirmed, with an eye to supporting fighter-jet operations.

In case of an attack from Tajik soil , Dushanbe should understand the consequences it may face ... They have circumvented the Pakistani questions for now but when/if the base houses figher aircrafts , both Beijing and Islamabad aren't going to be happy ...

I think that can be best decided by our top brass if an attacks takes place from there , maybe complete annihilation of the entire base would be enough , I think we have enough bombers for that ...

Every flying object can be detected and nobody's can do anything to stop PAF from crossing the 10 mile wide Wakhan corridor , the point is that Tajikistan cant really afford enmity with Islamabad with their tiny army and almost no airforce ...

lol ofcourse they can. They are a member of the CSTO and an attack on Tajikistan would bring in the former SSRs including Russia into war with Pakistan.

It does not matter how - the point is if Pakistan attacks Tajikistan, Russia is bound by the mutual defence agreement to come to the aid of Tajikistan. Period.
