India’s aim to arm Afghan forces may anger Pakistan

More weapons, more bloodshed there and India is going to create some snake-like foes by arming Karazai, please note Afghanistan won't be a democracy for very long.

At least we can keep them away from fomenting troubles in our area.Means bogging down of that Afghan militants in Afghanistan
itself because after NATO withdrawal they will soon become employed.

.
Those are the hopes but this place is too volatile to see peace. But let's see what happens with the withdrawal, what size is the skeletal force left behind!

He didn't say taliban, he said afghan mujahideens. And yes they did, Hamid Gul was notorious for channelling all the unemployed mujahids into Kashmir and inflaming that region.

They are facing an imminent threat from terrorists that your intel units have used for Years. A few tanks, APCs and gunships won't make you any weaker but will make them stronger to fight these 'non-state actors'. That's what we are doing.

It's true, read about Hamid Gul if you don't know. You ought to be more informed. Denying unpleasant facts won't chnage facts.
Plz spare us th nonsense provide a reliable source abt afghan fighters in IOK or keep shut!

Isnt a stable Afghanistan in the best interest of Pakistan? I mean I cant see an advantage to have a taliban controlled terrorstate next to one

.
Nothing wrong in it - the whole world wants to arm the ANA- or at least who ever has a stake, if the Russians and the Afghans don't have a problem with it then where does Pakistan come into the picture?. Karzai came with a laundry list of weapons he needs to India and this step if true makes a lot of sense.

The only reason India doesn't want to supply directly is it fears that it's own supplied weapons may make its way into Kashmir via the Pakistani weapon smuggling and proliferating route.

You missing the point: Taliban got benefactors, beyond Pakistan, we don't do them anymore. The war just gets bloodier.

.
Afghan brothers?
What do you have common with afghans ? Or for defeating Pakistan strategically you can make anyone your brother?
Any fathers made yet ?

Your post is reported for personal attacks.
Well if Afghanistan is your neighbour and so if you can call them brothers why you cant call other neighbours like that.
You treated Afghanistan as client state ,but we treat them as our brothers. It all about attitude
We will arm them with weapons with deal like this if they want .And we will gave them maximum support.

Yes. 200 Percent, we would love a stable Afghanistan with some kind of constitution there, law, economy!

But a stable Af? Is it possible? No, that's where the contingencies come in then and the proxies and the battle rages on and on.

Af is a land that's been battleground for hundreds of year, you don't just build a skyscraper there and expect people to roll out in ties.

The ideological emphasis of the movement shifted from a nationalistic and secularist one to an Islamic one.
This was in part driven by the arrival in the valley of Kashmir of large numbers of Islamic "Jihadi" fighters who had fought in Afghanistan against the Soviet Union in the 1980s.

USATODAY.com - Taliban, al-Qaeda linked to Kashmir

sources familiar with U.S. Intelligence analysis say al-Qaeda and Taliban operatives in the part of Kashmir controlled by Pakistan are helping terrorists they had trained in Afghanistan to infiltrate Indian-controlled territory.

Throughout the 1990s, the ISI maintained its relationship with extremist
networks and militants that it had established during the Afghan war to utilize in its campaign
against Indian forces in Kashmir. The ISI had become a state-mandated and Western-built
sponsor of contemporary and fundamental terrorism.

There are plenty more sources from all over the world, if you take your head out of the sand and open your eyes. You're welcome for teaching you something about your intelligence agency and the truth about the "native freedom struggle" in Kashmir. If Pakistanis had not brought talibturds and other foreign mujashits into Kashmir, it would have been the paradise it was meant to be.

Isnt a stable Afghanistan in the best interest of Pakistan? I mean I cant see an advantage to have a taliban controlled terrorstate next to one
That's because you don't like taliban. Many Pakistanis consider them their ideological soulmates. Pak was one of only three countries in the world that recognized and had diplomatic relations with the Taliban.
