and chinese 0522d are actually more stealthy are almost equally armed compared to kolkata class.

LOL according to information and rumors i read , PLAN's target is to own 20+ 052C/D 055 DDGs before 2030. So i think China can not reach numbers of 60x Burke DDG (i remeber), enough for facing threats from the West Pacific, 30x DDGs max.

China would not need more than 30 destroyers by 2030 anyway.

I think there will be between 5-6 aircraft carriers by then. Each carrier battle group may have 2-3 destroyers and 2 frigates providing escort.

US needs a lot of destroyers as they have 11 carrier battle groups and need enough for those and other additional tasks around the world.

I think the initial Chinese navy plan is to counter U.S. dominanace in their region. So you don't have t build that many ships. Anti-Ship missiles and the like can maximise their effectiveness.

Steel for the Kolkata class DDG comes from Russia.

We have started building these type of Steel now. IAC was build out of that steel. Even batter steel is being produced in India. SAIL and ESSAR makes that steel.

Relax bro, China's sea threats almost came from the West Pacific, compared with USNavy's huge numbers of "Burke II/III" DDG 052C/D still less. We wish the 10,000 ton 055 DDG can launch in next 2-3 years, that will be China's standard air defence DDG close to "Burke III".

As u see the mission of China warship building is to run after USNavy, step by step to follow their "Burke II/III" DDG. We r the big fans of U.S.A

No need man. Those mass produced Junks are no match to high quality product of India. One Brahmos fired from 500 KM distance is more than enough for one Chinese vessel.

It's China warship building plan to defnese our country, not against US aircraft carrier. When China build 30x 052C/D 055 AESA air defence DDGs, PLAN will be the N.o2 strong & powerful Navy in the world, that's Chinese goal.

China own the N.o2 biggest shipyard of world ship building industry and some big shipyards in DaLian/WuHan/ShangHai/GuangZhou/ZhouShan etc. Our 30x 052C/D 055 DDGs will come true,if necessary we can build more.

The War never happened between N.o1 and N.o2 countries in human history, but with others.

Really stupid reply, from @HariPrasad. Does the Brahmos as ur Almighty God destroy anything ? Brahmos is no wings Mig21, high heat source, limited guidance range, no change track at the end flight.

BTW not only India own super-sonic missile like Brahmos, U.S/Russia/China all equip their own super-sonic cruise missile & anti-ship missile, China own YJ-xxx super-sonic missile family. So Brahmos seriously not threat for us.

Why not brag that Brahmos would travel more than 2000KM?

Brahmos would not travel more than 300 km as that is the limitation. I know you want to deny that fact and believe its longer. But Russia follow the rules of exporting only missiles less than 300KM. India still cannot build Brahmos by itself. As Brahmos is like Su30MKI, a downgraded Russian export version. No wonder Russia has no need for Brahmos. If its something that is important for Russia, they would make India pay money and that is it, just like the development of PAKFA.

Actually I appreciate your confidence. People should learn from you to talk confidently without having background or knowledge of the subject. Now if you can click the link you will find a Russian article stating the Brahmos range to be 500 KM.

I also know that its speed is not Mach 2.8 but much more than that. But I do not claim that on forum because I do not have the link to prove that.

You can appologise for your rant you made in you post after reading this article if you are honest enough.

The Steel for Indian Aircraft carrier was imported from Russia, Some issu ehappen and Russia stopped supply of Steel..

Indian factories started the Steel production at home and now we are producing it at home..

No idea Kolkata class is made of Russian steel or Indian steel, But the bottom line is , India is able to produce ship-grade steels...
