On topic: Since i am from Tamil nadu and a tamilian, Indian govt should take steps to get the island back its important for our fishermen.

The only thing India finds of great importance in BD is the transit facility, which BD is very reluctant to give. Its a win-win situation for both BD and India, but rather as the saying goes:

Brother I advise you not to fall for the jingoistic politics of some right wing Tamil political parties. Both DMK & AIDMK hold tremendous power in Center. Ask them for a change, to look into your fisherman's problem rather than concentrating on how to rescue their cadres from 2g scam.
