We were discussing abt Balti people of Baltistan, Pakistan after yr fellow country man had posted their pics here...

I know what I said. Balti people are a sub-group Ladakhi people closely related to Ladakhi Muslims of Kargil. Even your wikipedia link is saying the same.

the Balti language belongs to the Tibetan language family and is a sub-dialect of Ladakhi.

The Balti are an ethnic group of Tibetan descent with some Dardic admixture, who live in the Gilgit–Baltistan region of Pakistan. In addition, smaller populations also exist in Ladakh, a region of Jammu & Kashmir, India
