Indian troops’ presence endangers Siachen Glacier

Obviously . Until any other resolution by UN or talks between India and Pakistan finally decide who is the rightful owner of Kashmir, the west of LOC is our part as we manage the defence, finance, education, health care over there. . :pakistan:

So you agree that till 'Talks' are over the eastern part is our property ?

Also some senior and elite members of Pakistan might not like your frankness in acknowledging that Azad Kashmir is 'currently' a part of Pakistan.To them Azad Kashmir is a separate country.:lol:

.
Isn't it named "Azad" for a reason? Why does pakistan still control it even though its a self governing region?

SENIOR and ELITE members of Pakistan dont think like you, so you can keep your statement with you. . :tongue:
Actually it was a separate country for me until I saw some posts on this forum by indians who keep on saying that indian occupied Kashmir is part of India. So I decided to call Azad Kashmir a part of Pakistan even if Azad Kashmir has its own Prime Minister.

No I dont say that eastern part is your property. Pakistan has always asked india to let the people of Kashmir decide what they want and is still pressing for it. . . But if you dont we will do it by force. . . :)

Maharaja Hari Singh extended his kingdom from what is now Gilgit Baltistan to Aksai Chin before partition ( I being from Jammu am quite aware of who are the invaders)

I think you should study your history a little more :hitwall:

Here's the map of the Kashmiri Valley just in case you didn't know what status quo regions belong to it

well my dear friend you are not the only kashmiri here on this forum..... coincidently i am another and that too from Srinagar. Further more my Grandparents were one of those few who escaped from there with their lives while my Grand dad's 3 brothers, my grandmother's siblings and parents as well as my oldest uncle were killed by the "glorious" indian army in 1949. So please do not pull the "im a kashmiri card" here...........lets just talk about the kashmiris who are on the roads everyday in srinagar.....lets talk about the people being killed everyday in srinagar...lets talk about the Pakistani flags they wear on their heads everyday in srinagar......lets talk about the slogans of "Pakistan zindabad" you hear in srinagar.....lets talk about the huge indian military presence in the kashmir valley.......and when we have done that lets try to find analogous examples across the border in azad kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan........let us, if you may allow my audacity, find some actual grounds for your argument....

ps: my history was taught to me by those who had lived it, who still cried when they told me where their house was , where they used to play and where their son and family died......so please my dear friend please do not try to tell me to go study my history.
:)

You make it seem as if I care about your history.
My family too escaped violence from your 'muslim" freedom fighters during partition. Understand that Kashmiri Pundits were living in that land way before you people sat on that land.
Stay in Azad Kashmir for all I care.
1. You have your azadi there
2. No one really cares, one less trouble maker to worry about :)

the same pundits who fled for purely economic reasons are now "oppressed"

i've heard the lame arguments.......we all have

from what I know -many brahmin pundits embraced Islam......few people ever talk about them. Seems most people in hindustan are fixated on this false notion that they were driven out

i don't subscribe to that nonsense propaganda......people in Kashmir are for past 6 decades or so realizing what kind of conditions can force or induce one to vacate --as it is in human nature to escape and do whatever it takes for survivial

amazingly, and luckily --they are braving the oppression and tyranny being waged on them by the occupational forces.........and as of late, through relatively peaceful protest, despite all odds against them; and despite all the repressive tactics, and the media blackout

Even Kabul is safer for field reporters

@abu zulfikar
well how did u come to the notion that they werent driven out
u were not the one driven out of the home
u can ask any pundit their story(if u have that heart) and would actualy find wat hapened then

@mirza
oh u dont leave PAK OK u dont trust us
well apply the same logic to siachin
