India will need atleast 50 more years to balance american military power, or a 1000 miracles to go past.
American power is in "dollar" system. Whole American Military is not enough to enslave 1.2Billion Indians. See Iraq. Is military power enough? Nope.
Military power is useful only if it succeeds to instill fear into minds of those who matters i.e. ruling elites of country.
Thats what has happened with India's case. Its elites have surrendered to American power without realizing India's strength.
India is too big to enslave. Divided India of 16th century was different case. Today, its totally different. But Indian leadership counts Indian power based on Western metrics of "GDP". They miss the real picture. And, hence they feel weak in their knees.
India is not weak, its powerful enough to handle any American pressure but problem is weak-minded leadership and elites of India, who are "awed" by american power.
Here is a hint to those who think USA is superpower and uncontrollable - In 1973, USA signed a deal with Saudi Arabia(SA) King that SA will sell their oil in american dollar($) to everyone and will refuse to accept any other currency/means(Gold). In return USA promised to provide Saudis with latest weapons as protection from their neighbours.
(This is similar to British strategy in India, where British offered weapons to Hindu Kings as protection from their neighbouring Hindu king states. Divide and Rule.
) This treaty helped in big way to enforce american dollar monopoly on Global Oil trade system and gave USA influence in the region and over every country who buys Oil in dollars. Because every country now has to ask USA Federal bank for "dollars" because they can't buy Oil using Gold or any other currency.
This provided USA immense influence because they print and control dollar.
Now if India signs a treaty with Saudi King and he agrees to partly/fully sell Oil to India in Indian rupees and in return, offers Saudis a way to invest those rupees back into Indian economy, buy good from India then, this will reduce American influence on India because India can just print "rupees" or just borrow from local Indian banks at home and buy Oil from SA and there will be no American Federal bank in the loop.
And, if this deal succeeded then, other countries in region will demand similar agreement of buying Oil in Indian rupees from SA because then, they can exports their good to India and earn rupees. This will further weaken American influence on those countries as well. If deal worked with SA, other in OPEC will be more than happy to create a balance against monopoly of american dollar which they find difficult to break.
India can do above because it has that cultural commonality with surrounding countries and it can do so if it "wants" to.
Well, thats a small example of what India can do and is structurally capable to do. But Indian elites don't have guts to play such big games on global geopolitics stage. Only Gora knows how to think big and play.
Thats why I always say - "
problem is not size of Indian economy. Problem is small thinking of Indians. They don't understand what India is and why West is paranoid of passing technology to India. Because West knows what India is capable of".
26/11 was more of western attempt according to me, to increase hate and misunderstanding between Indian elites and its neighbour. Pakistan has nothing to gain from 26/11 other than increased problem in its affairs.
Peaceful pakistan is good for India and bad for West. Pakistanis need to understand this and some do but they don't control their ISI and Army. So, its a tricky situation for India but letting USA play its games is bad.
Its better that India should talk directly to PakArmy, ISI and break a deal. Think of long-term interests of two neighbours.
India can't control USA but it can definitely do something about PakArmy,ISI if it plays its cards right.
