Indian Navy Chief arrive's in Sri Lanka

India's Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Nirmal Verma is due to arrive in Colombo Sunday (27) on a five-day visit, the Indian daily The Hindu reported Saturday.

The Indian Navy chief is scheduled to hold discussions with his Sri Lankan counterpart Vice Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe and to exchange of views.

Admiral Verma, whose career spans nearly four decades, is the senior-most Indian military official to visit the island nation in the last five years.

The author says he is a Journalist and yet he forgot that Srilankan Naval personal were exclusively trained in Indian naval Academy. The airforce trained some of their airmen in India. This was till the war on LTTE. Pity How U people forget the help so soon.....
