I've said it before, I'll say it again...mullas are the scourge of the Islamic world. no such thing as "clergy" in Islam...so these self proclaimed "scholars" can go to hell and sit on a blazing rock!

There can be another group in Pakistan who issues a fatwa to buy Chinese goods. Who's right?

Fatwas are based on evidence. Either directly from the Quran or authentic Sunnah. I know that can be difficult to understand as a Hindu.... Islam as a religion does not dictate who you should buy from but there is some evidence from Sunnah that supports the idea of boycotting an enemy.

That being said, Islam does not believe in offensive wars unless it has to do with protecting the innocent. Jihad is almost always defensive and since Modi said that China has not attacked us or taken our land then this fatwa does not apply.

Fatwa also does not apply because India is kuffar nation and Muslims are encouraged to live with Muslims. I don't think this guy wants to get lynched so he is doing what he can to save his life. This is also allowed in Islam. This fatwa is for Muslims who want to save their lives and not get lynched.

The All India Tanzeem Ulama-e-Islam, a religious and social organisation headed by five senior clerics, has issued a fatwa to boycott Chinese products in the country.

The clerics said the community members should stand with the army and government in this hour.

Expressing concern over India-China face-off, National general secretary of All India Tanzeem Ulama-e-Islam, Maulana Shahbuddin Rizvi expressed concern over the India-China face-off and said, "A fatwa has been passed for boycotting Chinese products on a query posted by a Bareilly-based resident. The clerics in the fatwa have condemned the conspiracy of China to encroach upon Indian land and the killing of our brave soldiers."


The panel of five clerics include national president of All India Tanzeem Ulama-e-Islam Mufti Ashfaq Hussain Qadri, Mufti Iqbal Ahmad Misbahi, Mufti Tauqir Ahmad Qadri, Mufti Hashim Raza Khan and Qari Saghir Ahmad Rizvi.

Third option...they are all irrelevant. I true Muslim is not under any religious obligation to follow the dictates & fatwas of clerics & mullahs. Here's a reference from The Quran & hadith on what Allah has to say about clergy from christians & jews (muslim mullahs fall into the same category):
