Indian Minister dies in accident

Gopi Nath Munde died on Tuesday due to injuries sustained in a car accident at Moti Bagh around 6.30am in Delhi. He was admitted in AIIMS Trauma Center with severe head injuries and passed away around 8 a.m after suffering a cardiac arrest, doctors said.

Mr. Munde's funeral will take place at his village in Latur on Wednesday, says Union ninster Nitin Gadkari.

His body will be kept at the BJP headquarters at 12.30pm today.

Eyewitnesses said that Mr. Munde asked for water immediately after the accident and then collapsed. Mr. Munde, a diabetic, was sitting in the rear seat when the accident took place.

The Central government is issuing a statement of condolence.

i doubt this as a accident............this could b an assassination too(might sound dumb but this possibility cant b ruled out as assassination can b made to look like an accident).......

May be the car banged on the dividers of road...I am just assuming this as all the newspapers have reported the news ambigiously.

i doubt this as a accident............this could b an assassination too(might sound dumb but this possibility cant b ruled out as assassination can b made to look like an accident).......

Well the initial report (when i left my house) doesn't suggest so, because there was hardly any injuries to his body,

Yeah, a car or a 407 hit Munde's car (thats what reported at 9 am) he was sitting in back seat.... his guard and driver survived the accident (either with no injuries or minor)

but still they are waiting for reports of munde ji.........anyways death w/o injuries is more doubtful to me :/

The car that hit his car happens to be an Indica. It reportedly jumped the signal and rammed into his SX4. Going by the extent of damage sustained by the Vehicles(pretty mild), it seems to be a genuine freak accident. He reportedly didn't suffer any injuries, but went into shock and subsequently suffered a heart attack/failure.

I dont think there could be any similarity here.... soundarya's was a heli crash and she was burnt totally (if i am not mistaken)
