Indian members help grievance with Jabong

Respected members, I need advice with an unpleasant experience with online shopping on Jabong. On 7th December I ordered a pair of crocs loafers worth 3244. Status immediately went to in Transit from Gurgaon, I am based out of Pune. Afterwards they kept on delaying for 2-2 days till yesterday. Today I got a call that the product can not be sent, and if I have to buy the same I have to pay the non discounted price which is > 7k. The other option they say is to get the money refunded. Same shoes (crocs Walu accent) are still showing as available on their website at an even more discounted price. I can not understand what's the matter with them. My money is with them for 11 days now, is it a method to earn on interest as there might be other consumers going for the same product? Now I have asked them to send me the same communication by email, I guess they wouldn't send it.
If you have faced something similar and know how to finger(consumer forum?) them, please mention. Not that I was holding my breath for the shoes, but nevertheless consider it a major breach in service. TIA.

do you have sacnned copy of your order and its electronoick reciept if yes go to consumer forum and file a formal complaint + file a PIL about how the accounts of these online sites work and what they do with money they keep on hold trust me they will come running to your doorstep begging for mercy take help of some advocate/charted accountant for the same :devil:

Thanks Guru Bhai, for the prompt hausla afzaai. I am thinking on those lines and these days more or less berozgaar, so time is on my side.

Sometimes, glitches happen.. Don't go all out fighting a legal battle. Trust me when I say this, it is not a way to earn interest. They have a lot more to loose trying to earn a 4-5% interest on 3K INR for 11 days.
Just take the refund. They must be having an android app. If you want other people to hear about your experience, just rate their app, and provide your reasons there, even if that is not related to the app.

Makes sense what you mentioned, but the same thing is still on their website. It's for everyone to order, so it won't be my 3k alone. Anyway I will wait for a month before taking any action, the same has been advised on consumer forums.

if the same shoes are available for the lower price on jabong itself then why don't you get refund and reorder?

Once I ordered A fila jacket from flipkart next day it was on the way to my place. But then there was a notification saying the product you were browsing is available at extra 10% discount, I canceled the previous order and placed a fresh order and saved 300 rs.

Because I believe they don't have it at all(or they can't ship to pune) or they are trolling. Why wouldn't they deliver if they had it in the first place, and why over the phone the rep would say I have to pay more for same, when the website says otherwise. From an IT perspective I guess their front end data is not in sync with back end or actual data.

I had a similar experience when I bought air tickets for a colleague recently. But the good news is I got my money back.

It so happened that a guy in my office who had joined 2 months back, needed to attend a funeral in India and he didn't have any credit card to book it online(banks in UAE don't give cards to those who can not produce 3 months bank statement or something to that effect).
I helped him purchase the tickets online. But we never received the tickets.
I got my card blocked on the same day for I suspected fraud.
Few days later my colleague called up their customer care and told them about the incident. Intially they denied the incident. But another day or 2 later, they asked me and my colleague to confirm a few things and after which my money was refunded.
So my suggestion is to contact their customer care once more, and ask for the procedures.
I'm not sure how it works in India, but ideally they will refund your money. They won't like to be dragged to court for sure.
