Combination of hard and soft approaches is what will root out naxalism.
Ministry of Home Affairs should exactly study the model implemented by Andhra Pradesh. It was one of the most affected states especially in the Telangana region. But state government over a period of time learnt how to deal with this menace and now naxals fear to come into these parts of telangana. Initially they support poor people cause but once they establish they destroy more public property and kill people in the name of informers. They should be dealt with hard power. More problem is with political parties who support them. In Andhra pradesh, congress used to support them, but Once TDP came to power it used force to best and made naxals extinct from this part. They ran to other parts like chattisgarh etc. Greyhounds were well trained to deal with this naxal menace .....along with some overt & covert policies.
