Our ancestores conververted to islam as it is vastly superior to pagan hinduism

Its something hindus are shamed to admit that hinduidm with weird dracula gods, castes, lingham worship was an abomination

It was a mercy that our people rejected these horrendous cave man beleifs if weird scary gods and flying monkeys and came to.worship the one true god

So the muslims who like us worship the same one true god will always be heroes, who saved millions from the hindu abomination

The mughals dominated right up.to south india

Tipu sultan was yet another muslim ruler of india who kept hindus under control

The vast majority of hindus were utterly dominated by the muslim empires, you were weak cowards & had no hope of taking on muslim armies

you know this type of mentality is what causing the sh*t in your so called country of pure the new problems of all kinds to shiyas and ahemadi muslims.
I really wish you all could grow up from this idioticity.

You were among those assimilated by the conquerors, or converted willingly..it doesn't matter. Its not you who ruled.....just the same way, its not I who ruled over you.....

If its valid though....i still own your-sorryass......and kick it around too

Omanis are the Swiss of the Middle East, They are so neutral it hurts.

They had joint exercises with Iran while at the same time having joint exercises in Saudi Arabia, They want to be leave everybody alone and most importantly they want to be left alone. Anybody who think it is some sort of conspiracy or "Arabee traitors" or whatever are just ignorant to the core.

They won't allow anyone to attack or damage anyone through them.

a good policy on their part

unlike other GCC countries, it's also rich in ancient cultural heritage

.
That's impossible for Oman to do and more impossible for GCC to allow it to happen. Oman is one of the most pacifist countries in the world, it's very keen to keep it's relations with all world countries normal including Iran itself. Furthermore, What's the point of setting up an Indian spy Station against Pakistan?, to provoke it and just to turn an ally into an enemy? It doesn't make sense at all and this report is baseless to say the least. AAnd Indians here get to stop dreaming about Arab countries working with India against Pakistan, it's not even an option, not because the regimes won't don it but rather their people won't allow it to happen as it would be regarded as a treason.

Oman–Pakistan relations are warm and cooperative. Oman has an embassy in Islamabad and a Consulate-General in Karachi, whereas Pakistan has an embassy in Muscat.

Oman is the nearest Arab country to Pakistan. 30% of Omanis are of Balochi origin from Pakistan's Balochistan province, having settled in Oman over a hundred years ago.[citation needed] Gwadar was formerly part of Oman but was sold to Pakistan on 8 September 1958. It was integrated within Balochistan on 1 July 1977 and became a full sub-division of the Gwadar District.[citation needed] There are over 85,000 Pakistani immigrants resident in Oman.

Oman and Pakistan cooperate economically, with bilateral trade of $331 million as of 2008-2009. The Pakistan-Oman Joint Investment Company promotes trade between Oman and Pakistan. The countries also cooperate militarily, with joint exercises and defence procurement.

Good to know that 30% Omanis are Balochi....this means it gives another reason to put up a station there....could help the BLA too.

err.... from my point of view Pakistanis are extemely anti-Arabs and regard India and Arab countries both alike as a sponsors of terrorism and separatism in their country

.
at night you can even see the lights of the coast of Oman from Balochistan.

i think indian are good dreamers with great imagination -- so they can at least make a film about listening posts even in Botswana if they so desire.

in reality, Oman wouldnt be so stupid. I could see indian trying to do some covert snooping around and try to get some poor labourers or other expat workers of Pakistani origin to try stirring up trouble but as for getting Govt of Oman to concede its land to indians for espionage - it's would be illogical of them and they'd be creating an enemy just next door, which they wouldnt want

How can that be? The distance is large enough to hide the lights by the curvature of the Earth, or may be the lights are truly very bright, and a faint glow can be seen on a dark night, but I am skeptical of that claim.

No all of them, nevertheless, we could have issues but that doesn't mean to work with India against them, that's not possible. Not only regimes but also people who won't excuse that.

Dude, it kind of dents your credibility when your sentences say "citation needed" in parantheses.

That aside, take a look at the corresponding Wikipedia article about oman-Indian relations. Every statistic mentioned in your post is valid for India-Oman, but even better.

Here:

India has an embassy in Muscat, Oman. An Indian consulate was opened in Muscat in February 1955 which was upgraded to a Consulate General in 1960 and later into a full fledged Embassy in 1971. The first Ambassador of India arrived in Muscat in 1973.[1] Oman established its Embassy in New Delhi in 1972 and a Consulate General in Mumbai in 1976. India and Oman have had trade and people to people ties for several millennia. Oman is home to a large Indian expatriate community and for Oman, India is an important trading partner. Politically, Oman has been supportive of India on international fora on issues such as Kashmir and it supports India's bid for permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council.

Oman has over five hundred thousand Indian nationals living there making them the largest expatriate community in Oman.

In 2010, bilateral trade between India and Oman stood at $ 4.5 billion. India was Oman's second largest destination for its non-oil exports and its fourth largest source for imports.

India-Oman relations

I am not trying to prove or disprove the existence of a listening post there. I am trying to demonstrate the futility of looking at the facts that serve your viewpoint and ignoring the facts that completely thwart your viewpoint. If you were trying to prove something by the parts you quoted, which you quoted along with the "citation needed" tag, then ask yourself what the ten times more magnified stats in this article would prove, according to your own logic. You highlighted that there are 85000 Pakistanis in Oman; there are 500,000 Indians. You highlighted the 330 million dollar trade between oman and pak; forgetting the 4.5 BILLION dollar trade between India and oman. And so on and so forth.

How can that be? The distance is large enough to hide the lights by the curvature of the Earth, or may be the lights are truly very bright, and a faint glow can be seen on a dark night, but I am skeptical of that claim.

Some people don't let facts come in the way of fanciful claims. The coast of Oman is 400 kilometres away. No artificial light source on earth can travel that far and still be visible to the naked eye, with all the atmospheric scattering.

That is not true at all. Pakistanis are not anti-Arab, they are anti house of Saud. That's a pretty big jump you're making.

All Arab countries have good relations with India and KSA itself has greater relations with India than Oman but that doesn't mean to ally you against Pakistan.

Pakistan Navy backs joint efforts to combat piracy

Muscat: Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) Jurrat and submarine Khalid have arrived at Port Sultan Qaboos as part of the efforts to further improve bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as between their naval forces.

Speaking to Times of Oman, Commodore Ahmed Saeed said that Pakistan Navy ship's visit to Oman aims at boosting cooperation and relations between the two countries and their navies.

"Pakistan and Oman have a long history of very good relations. Oman is our most friendly neighbour, and our partnership, particularly as far as naval exercises are concerned, has been going on for many years. Our ships have been coming to Oman, and their warships have been visiting our bases regularly," he said.

Anti-piracy efforts
Commodore Ahmed informed that the Pakistan Navy has joined coalition efforts in the Gulf of Aden/Somalia Coast, taking part in counter-piracy deployments. "These coalitions are the need of the hour to thwart common threats in the maritime sector," he added.

PNS Jurrat, a missile boat ac-quired from China, was commissioned into the Pakistan Navy in 1981. It was upgraded as a multipurpose auxiliary craft with enhanced capabilities and launched in 2002 at Karachi Shipyard, and commissioned in February 2006. The ship has participated in national and international exercises.

PNS Khalid is the first of the Agosta 90-B class submarines acquired by the Pakistan Navy from France, and was inducted into the fleet in December 1999.

Commodore Ahmed also said that naval forces have historically played a pivotal role in strengthening the bonds of friendship between nations through goodwill visits. "Naval ships are true ambassadors to represent their nations in the comity of maritime states. Besides goodwill, overseas deployments also serve common professional pursuits and inter-operability between allied navies," he said.

He noted that the Pakistani Navy enjoys cordial relations with the Royal Navy of Oman in all fields. "We hope this visit will open new avenues in bilateral cooperation,'' he added.
