when Gita Gopinath, Chief Economist, IMF predicted India will survive COVID crisis with a positive growth rate and even explosive growth in the next fiscal year. Shouldn't she be fired for being so wrong and incompetent? Obviously being an Indian influenced her nonsense projections.

Right now India is looking at a minimum 5 percent contraction in GDP and as much as 15% possibility.

Meanwhile 54-inch steel chested moron is nowhere to be found. I wonder if he has COVID and hiding.

As the end of the initial lockdown period came near, many state governments expressed their decision to extend it till the end of April. Among them were Odisha,[37] Punjab,[38] Maharashtra,[39]Karnataka with some relaxations,[8] West Bengal and Telangana.[9]

My beef is with Modi, his policies and his lies and deception. India is a big economic power and indeed bigger and more economically powerful than Pakistan...no argument here. When Pakistan during the lockdown reported zero car sales Indian on twitter were distributing sweets and ridiculing us. Just wanted to show the mirror.

Some restrictions were eased only after May 4th...none prior to that. Automobile showrooms were not part of that ease. Also, who in their right mind would buy a car when world economy took a slump, facing job cuts amid a global pandemic

Even Indian media is now quiet and not talking about what the financial institutes are loudly screaming about.....this lock down is ill-thought after and so poorly implemented that the images of millions of poor walking on foot hundreds of miles will forever scar humanity. India was seen as a country that first slaughtered Muslims and then let millions of poor fend for themselves as if they were worth no more than ants. where is the outrage in the media and politicians? just like Muslim slaughter they are gone silent.
