The richer states like TN , MH have been funding Kashmir for almost 3 and a half decades....to add to it , the people of Rest of India can't migrate or set up businesses or buy property in Jammu and Kashmir. So, it is a raw deal, a deal in favor of the J and K citizens....but that's ok , we believe oiin the concept of One India ....and don't mind helping our brothers out. We also value territorial integrity more...so any dramebaaz from the immediate west will be dealt with like a noodle in a bowl...

For that Kashmir has to contribute. Jammu is an apt area for industrialization. Kashmir can become Swiss of the South Asia. For that citizens of J&K have to contribute something to their own development which they dont.

Your industrialization in Kashmir has ruined the beauty of that valley. Kashmir is source of raw materials. Your textile industry uses raw materials of Shawls that come from Kashmir and then after value addition, sell to whole India. Not to mention tourism and precious stones are also landmark of Kashmir.

Where are you getting such statistics/crap? Drawing a false equivalence b/w Kashmir and Balochistan is not helpful to hide your Karnamay in Kashmir. Situation in Balochistan is restored to peace dramatically. Barhamdagh(separatist) is ready to talk. All focus is on Balochistan to normalize the situation as CPEC is also coming for them. Tribes are surrendering. Economic connectivity has been started. RAW terrorists are having very hard time right now in Balochistan and Karachi. After making Nasir Janjua, NS advisor, things will be better more.

I have no grudge against Indians personally. But whenever i think of Kashmir, i go in deep sadness and anger. Those poor people are paying the price just for nothing but freedom.

There's a big banner outside an interrogation centre which said, "Grab them by their balls, hearts and minds will follow.' That was the strategy of COIN operations in 90s. After the arrival of Lt. Gen. Syed Ata Hasnain as G.O.C-in-C in XV Corps the strategy changed completely. Now army exercises precaution and uses force with greater restraint. I'm sure sooner or later people of the valley will come forward and join the mainstream. The main challenge is the unemployment and the state government is very much responsible for this. No doubt young people are being swayed towards militancy. Burhan Wani is one example. But then again I'm optimistic that situation will improve for good. If a hardlined separatist like Sajjad Lone can join mainstream politics, then I'm sure someday Mirwaiz Umer Farooq will also follow it. You cannot win a war against a conventional army that has access to every resource. Even on ideological grounds you cannot sustain it. The new Corps commander Lt. Gen. Satish Dua has also maintained great restraint and composure, amidst casualties like Col. Mahadik of 41RR (ex 21 Para SF).
