Indian Army ready to execute orders on taking back Azad Kashmir, says top general

.
These threats are quite regular and akin to a bark with no intention to bite unless Pakistan is in clear turmoil. Preparations should always be made and be ready for them when the time comes, and go just beyond that as well.
The demographics are on our side with a much younger and growing population. We just need the right people in charge.

.
My point was that Kashmir was an open ground for both sides (Read disputed) while Lahore was not a disputed territory by any means hence the difference between the two.
Yes. It is a disputed territory for both. However, In 1965 there was peace prevailing and there was no requirement to unnecessary disturb that. In the assessment of PA, India was in weak position after 1962 loss to China and PA tried to make good of that.
This assessment proved to be grossly incorrect.

Moreover, both countries consider part of Kashmir under their control to be an integral part of their country. Any attack on that is considered an attack on the nation and can be defended with all the means available. That’s what India did. I am sure Pakistan would also do the same if India attacks Kashmir under Pakistan control.

Pakistan should have factored-in these aspects before starting a war. Which they didn’t.
One attacks his neighbour’s home to evict him and ends up defending one’s own home. And then starts celebrating successful defence of own home. Would that be a victory to celebrate?

Pakistan did not initiate hostilities on IB when India did op Meghdot. The point here is simple that India attacked the non disputed territory in 1965 while Pakistan had attacked a disputed territory earlier.
In south Asia, defense is considered supreme hence the celebration of the victory more like how Indian side celebrates Atal Asar battle.

No one’s saint out here in this bad world.
Pakistan wanted Kashmir. They thought that they had an opportunity. Tried and failed.
Pakistan did what they wanted to do. India responded the way it thought was fit.

Pakistan couldn’t achieve it‘s objective. Nothing wrong with that. The problem is, trying to create a narrative that’s completely false.

1965, 1971, 1999. There is no letup on creating a new history. Piece by piece.

Gen Bajwa has started a fresh attempt on 1971.
Blaming it on politicians. Not saying who the politicians were. Very soon 1971 will become a grand victory.

Despite being classed as non-Muslims under Pakistani Law, you would be hard pressed to find an Ahmadi in the UK who does not identify themselves as 🇵🇰. Besides, it’s doubtful an ex-COAS or any high-ranking official involved in this “saazish” against PTI who professes the Ahmadi faith would need to resort to exercising their Asylum-seeking benefits to settle abroad.

I would also vouch that Ahmadis are by and large PTI supporters/voters. For Pakistanis of all colours and creeds to untie against corruption and sovereignty is the need of the hour.
Im not an Ahmadi,
But the state sponsored persecution of the Ahmadi's in Pakistan is shameful.
The Machinery of the state is being used to persecute a minority and this should never happen in Pakistan,
Regardless of theological differences anyone may have with them or their beliefs.

My God, literally everything you accused Pakistan of doing (changing the narrative and so on) literally applies to India.

27th of feb, when the IAF got completely overwhelmed and dominated by the PAF, the Indians changed the narrative to saying the PAF were somehow backing off and that the IAF shot down a F16 and how the outnumbered IAF stood they ground and its actually a victory for India, or in 1965 from going from having tea in Lahore to successfully defending India against Pakistan.

I think the Indians should worry about the depsang plans more.

China building spree at Depsang Plains

Report says the country plans to hold on to occupied territory at multiple transgression points in eastern Ladakh
Xi Jinping.

A recent intelligence report suggests the Chinese are building additional roads, helipads and military camps inside India-claimed lines on the strategic Depsang Plains, where they have so far resisted any disengagement process, sources in the security establishment said on Monday.
The report appears to provide further corroboration of fears that China plans to hold on to territory that it has occupied at multiple transgression points in eastern Ladakh since May 2020 and declare a new status quo on the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
The development comes after Chinese President Xi Jinping last week told the country’s army to “focus all its energy on fighting” in preparation for war, as reported by a Communist Party of China mouthpiece.
Carrying pictures of Xi in army uniform during a visit to the command centre, People’s Daily quoted the Chinese President as saying the army must “comprehensively strengthen military training in preparation for war”. The report did not quote Xi as having named any country.
A security official attached to the Union home ministry said: “The latest intelligence report indicates that the PLA (People’s Liberation Army) continues to ramp up its military infrastructure on the Depsang Plains where it is estimated to be entrenched 18km inside India-claimed lines.”
He said the Chinese had for months been building roads and military camps within India-claimed lines on occupied territory in Ladakh, and the latest report suggested the drive was continuing.
The Indian army chief, General Manoj Pande, had on Saturday said the situation in eastern Ladakh was “stable but unpredictable” and revealed that the onset of winter had not led to any significant reduction in the Chinese army’s numbers along the LAC.

Defence ministry sources said the biggest worry was the Chinese army’s unwillingness to discuss disengagement from the Depsang Plains.
“They have so far shown no intent to pull back from the Depsang Plains, which has led to a very tense situation, particularly since they are not letting Indian soldiers patrol there,” a ministry official said.
He said India’s focus during the next corps commander-level talks between the two sides would be on disengagement from the Depsang Plains.
Sixteen rounds of military talks have led to partial disengagement from Gogra, the Galwan Valley, the Pangong Lake and Hot Springs, with both sides pulling back by equal distances to create “buffer zones” that neither can patrol. This means that while the Chinese still remain within India-claimed lines, India has given up patrolling rights over more areas.
The Indian army maintains that these buffer zones are temporary and that India has not given up its right over these areas.
The Chinese are estimated to have taken over close to 1,000sqkm of India-claimed territory in eastern Ladakh since May 2020.
India and China are each estimated to have deployed an additional 60,000-odd troops with weaponry along the LAC in eastern Ladakh.

Oddly enough - with 65 much as with Kargil - it came down to a few leadership levels(including Bhutto who proposed the idea) that made up Op Gibraltar without considering the actual situation on the ground.

No other elements of armed forces were consulted - no diplomatic corps to gauge support. Nothing.
Just a couple of men deciding their plan was good enough to put on the fate of the rest of the nation.
Ayub thought Shastri weak - and Pakistanis paid for it
Interestingly it is a repetitive folly of Pakistanis who judge people by looks and physique rather than intelligence

"As far as the Indian Army is concerned, it will carry out any order given by the Government of India. Whenever such orders are given, we will always be ready for it," said Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, Northern Army Commander, on the Defence Minister's statement of taking back Azad Kashmir.

"The military is always ready to make sure that ceasefire understanding is never broken as it is in the interest of both nations, but if broken at any time, we will give them a befitting reply," said Dwivedi, Northern Army Commander on the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan.

"The country has over 50 per cent of people below the age of 25. If we take them in as Agniveers, teach them and send them back, we will absorb some, others by paramilitary, and police forces and the remaining can be self-employed," he stated.

"We have almost 160 terrorists sitting at the launchpad of which there are 130 north of Pir Panjal and 30 south of Pir Panjal. As for the complete hinterland, a total of 82 Pakistani terrorists and 53 local terrorists are there," he further stated.

Earlier on October 28, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reiterated New Delhi's resolve to take back Azad Kashmir, saying all refugees would get their land and homes back.

Thanks bastard Bajwa even Indian dogs can bark at us now.
