Its just a proof that how pre-occupied is pakistan that it have to forget its enemy which it loves to hate.
Pak army don't want any direct confrontation with Indian Army at present. My two cents.
New Recruit
Well this isn't the first any such thing has happen. According to members here such type of event has happened before when didn't had any alleged or so called pre-occupation and that chopper was treated in the same manner like this one. So what is the worth of your two cents now?
Anyways I have already made it clear that such gestures are always stupid and worthless. So nothing surprising with your post.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan had scrambled a fighter jet after an Indian helicopter flew into its territory and the chopper was warned that it would be fired at if it attempted to escape.
The Time of India states that the chopper was some 20 km's inside Pakistani Airspace........It took Pakistan so long to respond that the heli traveled 20 k's inside, what kinda response is that? Someone earlier posted that AEWACS had picked up the heli deep inside Indian Air Space so why did it take so long for the PAF to respond if they were monitoring movements inside Indian Air Space??
even when going 180 km/h it doesnt take long to travel 20 kms.....once the air controllers saw the heading of the aircraft (before the breach) they likely ordered aircrafts to be airborne (which from the time the order takes place, it probably takes about 5-6 min to have those standby crafts in the air)
i think Pakistani response was sufficient, since the aircrafts (from what news is saying) were able to establish a visual and radio contact with the intruders
