Actually if GoI would heed to Palash Sen then at least there will be less money laundering and we will not have to stop the Pakistanis at the Airports and catch them red handed with the cash. That will cause less international incidents and Pakistani Govenment will have less reasons to complain that we are catching the "chors".

Also it will be good for the Pakistani singers because they can then focus on the tremendous potential for music and money within Pakistan.

They simply told the college that there were security concerns, so the NOC wasn’t issued. We were going without any fear whatsoever!

sir, we are all agreed that pakistan is not a safe place to have concert with international band. As we can see the present situation of karachi and other parts of pakistan where there is no law and order. Pakistan'd government did the right thing as I said in my previous post because of security reasons. as far as PCB is concerned they promised the same to lankan but they barely saved from the terrorist attack. So we agreed that LUMS can't provide the secuity level that PCB can provide which itself is not good.

We are not talking about Individual groups we are talking about govt's response. Other Indian artists have raised this issue many times that they are not provided visa where as artists from pakistan can easily come and perform in India.
I dont agree with palash sen though, just because they stop us does not mean we should do the same.

Artists have no borders, they should never be denied visa. (be it pakistani or north korean)

Lahore: Pakistani authorities did not grant visas to members of the Indian band Euphoria, which was to perform at a university in Lahore last week, as the venue was within a cantonment, a representative of the organisers said today.

Euphoria's performance at the prestigious Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on March 23 was cancelled after Pakistan's Interior Ministry did not clear the issuance of visas to its members. "The band was scheduled to perform in the varsity last week but its members were denied visas because Indian nationals cannot enter the cantonment area. LUMS is located within the Lahore cantonment," LUMS official Zainab Nawaz told PTI.

She said students had been excited about the idea of having an Indian band perform for them. "But we were told about the problem later," Nawaz said. Euphoria's lead vocalist Palash Sen was upset by the cancellation of the event. "We were invited to perform at LUMS on March 23, which
also happens to be Pakistan Day, but we were informed at the last moment that the concert can't happen as the no-objection certificate was not granted due to security concerns," Palash said last night.

"It is very insulting as an artiste. It was a priority show for us. We had performed in Karachi in 2008 and got a lot of love from people there. This time we lost the opportunity to perform," he added.

This is what I don't get why add English words in a Hindi song, it just sounds weird(funny). Specially in some of the old songs when you listen to old songs and the singer have a really heavy accent.
