Indian Army shot Pakistani officers, after calling flag meeting

@Areesh @Icewolf

3 soldiers of the Pakistani rangers were killed in October alone according to none other than the Sialkot Sector Commander of Pakistan Rangers Brigadier Waseem:

Govt urged to boldly reply to Indian madness

Also another Pakistan Army soldier was later killed in November 2014:

Indian firing at LoC kills Pakistani soldier – The Express Tribune

Pakistan protests to India over soldier’s death - Newspaper - DAWN.COM

So the total number of Pakistani soldiers killed in 2014 by India is at least 6.

Now compare this to this:

First casualty on the very day Modi was worn in:

Army Jawan Killed in First Ceasefire Violation After Election

Then a BSF trooper was killed in July:

The Tribune, Chandigarh, India - Main News

Another soldier from Naga regiment was killed. Indian media first claimed that Pakistani firing killed him and then pinned the blame on "militants".

At least 2 were killed in IED attacks just along the line of contro. One in June:

One Jawan killed, two others injured in an IED blast along LoC | The Indian Express

Then one in October:

Soldier killed in Kashmir blast laid to rest with military honours, army promises action - Yahoo News India

Several others were injured and we don't know whether they are in one piece or not despite being alive today.

Then a soldier was killed in November:

Border firing kills woman, havaldar in Uri sector | Kashmir Reader

Then yesterday another one was killed while we lost two:

So lets count it shall we kid. The total makes it to at least 6 casualties. So you had around 6 casualties that happened right next to the fence or right at the LOC.

Chalo munnai. Ab aagai barho aur ja kar dua karo kai hamara response sirf 1 dead body tak limited rahai. :)

Honest opinion. You included count of casualty due to militants... way to go...

Lol desperate @Areesh is now trying to include casualties from IED blast among casualties of border skirmish.

Then even we can include the 3 rangers killed in wagah blast as they were killed only 700-800m from the border.

"Punjab Rangers DG Maj-Gen Tahir Javed said that three of Rangers had been killed in the blast, which came around 500 metres from the post itself."

Carnage at Wagah — 60 killed - Newspaper - DAWN.COM

In other news one pakistani soldier killed and several others injured in blast in Sibi Balochistan.

@karakoram

Many Pakistanis also claim that Baloch rebels and TTP guerrillas are supported by India, so should we include the hundreds of casualties of Pakistani firces in FATA, KPK and Balochistan among India Pakistan border skirmishes.

Isn't it you guys who say that militants plant IED's with the help of Pakistani army? Are you trying to say that Pakistan has no role in it? I would be fine with that if you are changing your years old rhetoric. As for Wahga blast I could have also included 8 casualties of Uri army camp attack but I didn't. And several casualties where your soldiers died right next to LOC fighting with militants. But I included just those casualties which you guys pin directly on Pakistani army. It is you guys who say PA plants IED on the LOC. Even the IED are made in POF wah according to you guys.

In other news you have lost at least 16 soldiers at the hand of maoists in the month of December. Not to forget casualties at the hand of Kashmiri militants.

In that case if even a dog kill in india they blame ISI so from your logic then every indian died in india include that in border skirmishes too :-D :-D

Many Indians also claim Pakistan was directly behind Kashmiri and Sikh militancy. By going that rule we can also claim thousands of casualties very easily. Hundreds from just Sikh militancy.

So why not grow up kid and don't do sh!t like that. I am sure you can afford to be a little less as$hole.

A Protocol is followed for flag meeting.

1. Flag meeting is held between area commanders of either side and not Naik and Lance Naik levels.

2. In a flag meeting either side carrying a white flag approaches the zero line. Two of your soldiers who died, were they carrying a white flag, when they approached the border?

3. Timings of a flag meeting are pre determined on a hotline between the two commanders.

4. When a white flag was raised from Pakistani side(apparently to recover the bodies), Firing seized from Indian side.

Err...you are not allowed to bring in logic to the argument. You can be sure that almost all Pakistanis will buy the argument that Naik & Lance Naik are the ones who hold the flag meeting. Btw, did you know that they are already referred to as officers as per the headline here?

Pakistan Targets Indian Posts Hours After 5 Die in Cross-border Firing

Pakistan targeted Indian posts hours after four of its rangers were killed in retaliatory fire by India

  • JAMMU: Pakistani forces targeted 12 Indian posts late last night along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir, at an area where cross border firing killed an Indian jawan and four Pakistani soldiers hours before.

Reports suggest that a civilian was injured in mortar shelling by Pakistani troops through the night in Samba district, 41 km from Jammu. This is the third ceasefire violation by Pakistan in two days.

Pakistan had on Wednesday evening summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh in Islamabad to register protest after four of its rangers were killed in retaliatory fire by India after a jawan was killed. Pakistani Rangers had fired on Indian soldiers patrolling the border.

Indian troops stopped firing when the Rangers raised a white flag, asking for time to remove the bodies.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, after being briefed about the death of Constable Ram Gowria, had asked the forces to give a "suitable and appropriate reply for any such unprovoked firing," an official statement said.

Pakistan said it had summoned the Indian envoy to protest against the "Shahadat (martyrdom) of two personnel of Pakistani Rangers".

On Tuesday, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar had said the Indian army would retaliate with "double the force" to any ceasefire violation by Pakistan.

Cross-border violence has, in recent months, been the worst in over a decade. In October, at least 20 civilians were killed on both sides. The worst violence was in the Kashmir Valley in early December, when terrorists killed 11 Indian soldiers and police in the middle of elections in the state.

India summoned Pakistani High Commissioner Abdul Basit earlier this week to protest against the possibility of 26/11 mastermind Zakiur-Rahman Lakhvi walking free.

Lakhvi, who was arrested in 2009 for orchestrating the Mumbai attacks, was granted bail by a Pakistani court on December 18, drawing strong condemnation from New Delhi. Pakistan this week arrested him in another case, ensuring that he remains in jail for now. Pakistan had said it will appeal against his bail in the Supreme Court.
