Isn't it you guys who say that militants plant IED's with the help of Pakistani army? Are you trying to say that Pakistan has no role in it? I would be fine with that if you are changing your years old rhetoric. As for Wahga blast I could have also included 8 casualties of Uri army camp attack but I didn't. And several casualties where your soldiers died right next to LOC fighting with militants. But I included just those casualties which you guys pin directly on Pakistani army. It is you guys who say PA plants IED on the LOC. Even the IED are made in POF wah according to you guys.

In other news you have lost at least 16 soldiers at the hand of maoists in the month of December. Not to forget casualties at the hand of Kashmiri militants.

If we were sending terrorists, you'd be bleeding like hell, you'd be making a bigger fuss, you'd be taking casualties, and these tall tales about cutting down infiltrators as if it's goose hunting would be gone. You've no idea how common killing of civilians is on the border and what kind of tales are cooked up to cover them up, deny or not even report them. The latest tool is to call them infiltrators or terrorists every now and then, sell you'll tall tale to extra spicy, buy one get one free Indian media, and then you folks log on to PDF, shitpost away....

Sorry for going off topic, but do you say the same thing about terrorists killed in KPK ? Kind of typical of a lot of Pakistani members here. If PA does it in Balochistan, and FATA its all good even if gravity bombs are used in F 16 bombing runs. But if IA does it in Kashmir, its a big smoke screen to cover hunting of Kashmiri civilians.

Nope. The article posted clearly called out that the ones killed were the officers gone for the flag meeting where as the accompanying soldiers managed to escape

Mix-up in casualty count.

If the 2 were different incidents the Indian media would have indicated that 6 Pakistani Rangers were killed, not 4. Both BSF accounts refer to the same incident, with discrepancies in the casualty count.

Looks like the figure of 4 Rangers killed is now being accepted by Pakistani media too.

(Reuters) - Indian border forces killed four Pakistani interior-ministry troops on New Year's Eve, ending a year in which clashes between the nuclear-armed neighbours have escalated and hopes for reconciliation faded.

Wednesday's incident, on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, followed the killing earlier in the day of an Indian border guard, a senior officer from India's Border Security Force said.

"We have retaliated effectively ... four Pakistani rangers have been killed along the International Border in Samba sector this evening, said Rakesh Sharma, BSF inspector general for the Jammu Frontier.

"As Pakistani rangers suffered casualties, they waved white flags, asking BSF to stop the firing so that they can lift the bodies of the dead men. We stopped the firing after their request," Sharma said.

Frontier clashes have intensified in recent months, dashing hopes that a brief thaw in relations after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was elected in May would lead to a calming of the situation.

The worst violence has been further north in the mainly Muslim Kashmir Valley, where separatist militants killed 11 Indian soldiers and police in early December, the worst losses in six years.

Jammu and Kashmir held state elections in December in which Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party made gains. While leaving the party short of a majority, the result could open the way for it to form a ruling coalition with a regional party.

India had by then fired approximately 36,000 rounds of ammunition in the current cycle of tit-for-tat shooting, while Pakistani troops in response fired about 8,000 rounds. About the same time, “sources close to the Indian home minister” quoted in the India media put the number of rounds fired by India even higher at 50,000. In other words, for every shot fired by Pakistan, India fired about five or six. The imbalance indicates clearly which side is stoking the fire.

Warning shot ignored. Bring it on. And this flag meeting drama is a simple ruse by Pakistani establishment to justify the deaths on its side. PA is known for hiding or misrepresenting these losses. Saw that repeatedly in Kargin and in 1971 where till hours before the surrender PA was claiming victory on the eastern front thru Pakistani media

For us we lost at most 6 soldiers while killing the at least the same number of enemy soldiers in return.
