Indian Army officer injured in cross-LoC shelling yesterday at Nowshera dies

An army officer who was injured in cross-LoC shelling in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district on Tuesday has succumbed to injuries.

Reports said that a Junior Commissioned Officer succumbed to his injuries. The deceased was identified as Shashi Kumar.

Kumar was shifted to army hospital for treatment, however, he succumbed today, reports quoting senior officer said.

Another soldier, Sepoy Jaspreet Singh was also killed in cross-border shelling in Kalsian Nowshera yesterday.
