And so does it mean he is beyond rationality?

Have I missed something?

What exactly are you implying?

I have been a member when it was very difficult, but now it is one of the most liberal forums I have been on and for a Pakistani Forum, it is fantastic!

Can you guide me to a similar Indian forum for Pakistanis?

Why would they even encourage a divide if they didn't have a deep rooted insecurity about Pakistan?

Also, why are you talking so vehemently about Pakistan & its issues, when we are quite clearly not worth your time? Pakistanis know the numerous problems in their country, & are ready to talk about them, & let others talk about them. You get to hear a huge variety of opinions from all kinds of Pakistanis, unlike Indians, that pretty much have one streamlined view, talking about their 'shining' India (which is confined to its Western & Southern states), & not look at the real problems in their society.

You ask why are you talking so vehemently about Pakistan & its issues?

Because you live in a time wrap.

World has changed.

India Pakistan relations have changed drastically.

Time to smell the coffee!

Listen, Peshwa bhai, I agree with you. Indian Muslims generally have made great progress in India, & a lot of it has to do with the aspirations of India to promote a secular culture. However, there are a lot of holes & gaps left in the middle as well, & while you hear the success stories of Indian Muslims in Delhi, Hyderabad & the major cities, you don't hear the stories of the huge number of Muslims sitting in Bihar, Jharkhand, UP. I've been to these states first hand. I have my whole family living in these 3 states. I know what I'm talking about. To summarize: I'm not generalizing anything, I realize India & Indian Muslims have made great strides forward, there are plenty of success stories out there, but no Indian member here wants to look anything beyond success stories, when there are a huge number of people still facing problems of having their loyalties questioned.

My friend, Bihar, UP and Jharkhand are backward states to begin with.....the shitty vote bank politics, the caste system, communalism, lack of education etc etc are most common in this belt....(I think they loosely refer to it as the cow belt...Kind of a jab similar to the bible belt in the US)....It is not just Muslims that are backward in this state, but even Hindus....

See preferntial treatment to me would mean that Hindus....irrespective of region would prosper and Muslims suffer...But that is not the case.....People of both religions are suffering...especially from poverty and lack of education

To a certain extent, I do agree with Tikiman.....Muslims in India need to emphasize on education, less religion.....Madrasa education, gender inequality, lack of integration all pose as barriers to the lower strata of Indian muslims....
You will not notice this in big cities mainly because of the education factor....

The problem between your thinking and mine is....You look at the glass half empty while I emphasize the half full..
To me, highlighting Indian Muslims achievements inspires hope for those who are backward.....allowing them to aim higher..have real life examples to emulate..
To you...Indians highlighting the Muslim success (even if you think it is in small cases) is seen as ignoring a glaring problem...even indifference if you will...to us, its inspiration to the newer generations and represents a new resurgent India for all...one that looks beyond communal lines...

Everyone was getting alone on the thread till you came. Karachi has bigger slum than Mumbai.

And Pakistan on average has more slums than India.

I know you'll probably reply something like 'That's probably because Karachiites are Indians after all so they're used to living in slums and blah blah blah' because you're such a 'PROUD PUNJABI' I suppose. judging by your previous comments.

And btw the part of London where I'm from [Hounslow] Indians and Pakistanis get along just fine. In fact Indians always identify themselves as 'British Indians' but Pakistanis always tend to use this umbrella label of 'British Asian' to make us sound similar.

We're not the same people? Punjabis and Muhajirs 2 biggest ethnic groups of Pakistan can easily find their roots in India. And we even speak the same language. Hindi-Urdu is classed the same language [Hindustani] when counting the speakers of any particular language. And Punjabi also has 30-40 million speakers in India right? I just proved how we're same people, same language, same culture but because of Arabian religion if you think you're more Arab than Indian then I just have one thing to say. GOD BLESS YOU. :)

Why are you even bothering to compare yourself on this forum, the superpower you are, free from any kind of problems, with a failed country like Pakistan?

Loyalties are questioned because the fact is that some muslims in India i belive still feels they belong to pakistan ... or atleat act in such way

What do you mean?

quite frankly i don't give 2 S**ts what Pakistanis do or what is going on with there internal matters but when Pakistan acts in a belligerent manner and sends terrorists to India to do there dirty work then yes its our problem you call it obsession we call it watchful vigilance India has more important issues such as defeating Naxal Northeast and Kashmir insurgency and focusing on its economy for the betterment of its people rather than obsess about Pakistan

jeez. i guess some people still have there heads too far up there own ***holes to see what is actually going on today if anything i think its the opposite really Pakistanis are the ones who obsess about us its quite a shame i do not mean to troll but the stuff Pakistanis are taught in there schools in one word is alarming many Pakistanis i have met still believe India is always the belligerent one and who starts all conflicts but actual history disproves this claim

even today India is still struggling with millions of citizens living in poverty and a menace of insurgencies i would think our law makers are more concerned with beating those than obsess over Pakistan

Did you even see his comment which I quoted? Or did you even read my whole post.

And no we're not superpower. We're still a third world developing country. Yes, we are classed as 'Newly industrialised country' but we still have a LONG way to go.

When most of the violence in your country taking place in its Eastern states bordering Bangladesh, or in your central states, inspired by the situation in Nepal, why are you so vocal about Pakistan as compared to countries like Bangladesh, Nepal; when the violence on your Western border is far less than on your Eastern border & central states?

Even though Pakistan was made in the name of Islam.

The most successful muslims in South Asia, are both Indian!!! (As Bilal pointed out)

Azim Premji, his wealth is worth more then Pakistan foriegn reserve. And Abdul Kalam, the most intelligent muslim in South Asia.

The most succesful muslims are those that have managed to carve a homeland out of india. Then faced with overwelming animosity from a significantly larger neighbour that is obsessed with the fact that they will never regain this territory which some of them even to this day regard as a part of india has survived. And in due course will flower.

At least these most succesful muslims will not have to worry about gujrat types of masacres or have their mosques desacrated because someone says there was another temple below it.

Thats what I call success.

I am only trying to tell you not to ruin this forum.

Why are you an infant who does not know how to Google?

Are you such a computer illiterate.

It is better you remain so, and not be left free to pollute other forums of the world.

I have not made one personal insult against you here, while you keep doing so against me. It's fine though, it doesn't bother me. And no, I'm not computer illiterate. I've looked up on google, & not found a similar Indian forum open for Pakistanis. It is an irony that despite being liberal & open minded, you do not give a fair platform for others to discuss issues on an Indian forum. Whereas a failed nation, full of problems, full of inherent faults, full of all the troubles in the world gives you the opportunity to do so on this forum. Remember that.

Thank you bilalbhai. For some reason I cant give you a thanks here. oh it was something wrong with my comp.

If you were a bit coherent and not so shell shocked one would know what you wanted to know,

Please be coherent.

Listen guys tikibhai and bilalbhi are two of the people on this forum whose posts that I usually like. Im beginning to wish I hadnt put this thread up now. Can I request someone close it. I mean we are having somewhat circular arguments here now dont you think
