Notwithstanding, it is also conceded that there are countries who have a censored media and so they are led to believe that their military and nation are error proof!

A Su-30MKI aircraft crashed on 30 April 2009 in the Pokhran region of Rajasthan after it took off from Pune during its routine sortie, killing one of its two pilots. Defence minister A. K. Antony, stated that the likely cause of the April 30 crash was "failure of the fly-by-wire system". The Sukhoi fleet had then been grounded for around three weeks. However it was found that this crash at Rajmathai village, around 170 km from Jaisalmer, in April was because of the position of the various critical switches of the aircraft. The switches were behind the pilots and they would have to turn them on and off without looking back. At one point, a wrong switch was turned on, leading to the crash on April 30. Wing Commander PS Nara was killed in the mishap, while Wing Commander SV Munje was injured. After investigators identified the problem, a couple of difficult switches were sealed off.
Another Su-30MKI aircraft crashed on 30 November 2009 in Jathegaon, about 40 km from Jaisalmer. The pilots ejected after they saw fire alarm buttons glowing red. Both the pilots are unharmed. This is second such crash of this fighter. Indians cannot be brainwashed.

In India, not only private media houses give news and debates and commentaries 24 x 7 in their various newspapers, magazine and TV channels, but also access to foreign news through newspapers, magazines, TV channels, unrestricted internet, et al.

Therefore, the Indians have a choice of views on every issue, domestic as also international. It is not confined to just only one view!!!

Brainwashing means cause somebody to adopt a certain position, belief, or course of action. It is possible in a totalitarian nation with media under State control, be it print or electronic media. In China the media is controlled by the Chinese Govt and it also ensure control and censorship of the internet as also blacks out international TV channels when they broadcast anti China news.

Therefore, by the definition, it is the Chinese who qualify as the brainwashed millions!

Just a point to clarify the terminology.

Good news for India, so with all these money going to imports of WMD, we will still see India lagging in terms of health care, basic education, no hygiene and toilets, top the world list of street defeacation, increased gap between rich and poor, more corruption given that black money continues to be poured by the arm suppliers to the Indian intermediaries, no indigeneous arms industry and the farmers will still be impoverished by the recent hike in prices of raw material. Go on India, continue to be the NO 1 arms importer and continue to stockpile western weaponry leaving your population stranded in abject poverty and crippling infrastructure with no capacity to even organize a regional event (Shameful Delhi CWG whereby India has shame itself with poor infrastructure, disease and human faecal in the village games), no capacity to host even the 2060 Olympic games and World expo. Go on to be the no 1 arms importer, this is something to be very proud of for a nation with 800 Million poor and 60 Billionaires. By contrast China in the coming years will have zero import in terms of weaponry thanks to the current western embargo and it will export more thanks to the burgeoning indigeneous Chinese weapons development. India will always be the No1 world weapons importers, a good news for the forthcoming Chinese economic hegemony to be the No 1 world economic power.
