India Wants the World to Buy Its Weapons. They’re Not Very Good

How it's a failed attempt when the Block II is operational & Block III is in R&D phase & will be unveiled soon? Also not forget the orders it got from several nations & Myanmar already got the deliveries of the so called "failed Mig".

orders from several nations ??
3 from Nigeria and 16 from Myanmar

The JF-17 is such an advanced aircraft that PLAAF won't induct it. The PLAAF has hundreds of J-7s in its fleet

.
Reminds me of INS Vikramaditya AC. Russian decommissioned tatti got bought for India at a hefty 3Billion Dollars by Indian Naval Chief just for 1 night with a Russian sasti gashti.
Sad , Pakistan thinks a upgraded 90s carrier is outdated , even 90% of its naval arsenal is from the 70s

You can't even build frigets psn babur is a 80s scrap bucket

Still less embarrassing than rejecting your own home made products like Tejunk & Arjunk.

all air-forces of the world replaces their old jets not on one by one bases, one J-10 and J-11 is more capable than 3 or 4 J-7 and J-8 that why the don't need a JF-17 to be inducted @wiseone2 :p:

.
That's by design , we only need one
By the time the trials are completed (5-8 years) the current one will be on the process of being decommissioned(10 yrs) , so its going to be launched in 2020 & a new carrier will be built in the dock . Same cycle.
Meh.
What about the FOC?

PLAAF spends a lot of money to operate hundreds of J-7s. that money could be used to replace them with thunders

I telling you that hat era was over that air-forces of the world operates 4-5 kind of different jets in their air-forces, today's air-forces replaced their older jets with 1-2 kind of jet like F-35 replaces F-16, F-18, harriers A-10 and some of F-15 which far more capable than all of above mention jets, in similar way China is following, you're ranting with no base @wiseone2 :hitwall::crazy:

It is like this - the PAF is replacing J-7s with Thunders
For PLAAF it is okay to operate J-7s

The PLAAF has not reduced the number of jets they operate - they operate J-7, J-8, J-10, Su-27, J-11, Su-30, J-16, Su-35, J-20, JH-7

There are only 300 -400 J-7 and J-8 gradually replaced by J-10 and J-11 aside J-20 JH-7 and J-10 all of the rest of PLAAF jets is Su-27 and its modified design so they reduce maintenance/logistic and operating cost @wiseone2 you ranting again with no base @wiseone2 :hitwall::crazy:

Is india still going to buy Malaysia mig-29?

.
.
India does not know anything under omnipotent Indian Ayatullah Modi.
What he says is what would happen.

Yesterday it was Israeli Spike deal that was canceled:
India Cancels $500 Million Deal For Israeli Anti-Tank Missiles

They revived it again:
Israel-India spike missile deal back on, says Netanyahu - Israel News ...

India is governed by a democratic dictator whose name is Damodardas N Modi.
Were they ever serious with themselves?
We are letting go them mig29 due to too old.

First come first served.
