India to push for freeing Internet from U.S. control

Yes, very hard, the world has 1 main IP main server(in US) and 12 vice main IP main server(in which 9 in US, two in EU, 1 in Japan)

I think what you meant is DNS server, which is different than what I said, IP is a batch address, it's a protocol address that's related to the webpage. Currently US department of Commerce is in control of IP address distribution, control and management

DNS server on the other hand is a conversion of domain name (such as Yahoo into IP address (such as 123.123.123.123) basically domain name is governed by domain name registra and their respective databases are store in their main server

As I said you don't need domain name to access the Internet, but you need IP address and only US government have a say on IP address at current form

. .
You can never get rid of the US control of Internet if you want the concept of Internet

The term "Internet" means a network shared internationally, and as long as you can allow US direct access to your webpage, your Internet service is controlled by the American

Take the most basic thing for example, IP address, every webpage acquire an IP address to associated with, you don't need a domain name but IP address is a must, and wonder who manage the IP address allocation? - US government (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority)

The only way you can get rid of the American system is either US relinquish control of the Internet, or the world develops another set of Internet. Either of the choice seems unlikely...

Internet Assigned Numbers Authority - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There are strong movements to draw ICANN away from US dominance, however.

They called for accelerating the globalization of ICANN and IANA functions, towards an environment in which all stakeholders, including all governments, participate on an equal footing

.

As I said, either US relinquish control of the IP address or the world made another substantive system, US WILL control the Internet

If you are US government, will you give away the control of IP Address?

And IP address is only one part of the equation, you also have other hardware and software monopoly in Internet technology

lol no one takes India seriously. US, Russia and China are the 3 most important countries in geopolitics.

lol....India "invented" zero. Well, America "invented" the moon. Send me a dollar every time you look at it.

US didnt invent the moon. Moon was always there since the big bang. Dont know who discovered moon.

India did invent 'zero'

India: Where zero became a number

Some scholars assert that the Babylonian concept wove its way down to India, but others give the Indians credit for developing zero independently.

The concept of zero first appeared in India around A.D. 458. Mathematical equations were spelled out or spoken in poetry or chants rather than symbols. Different words symbolized zero, or nothing, such as "void," "sky" or "space." In 628, a Hindu astronomer and mathematician named Brahmagupta developed a symbol for zero — a dot underneath numbers. He also developed mathematical operations using zero, wrote rules for reaching zero through addition and subtraction, and the results of using zero in equations. This was the first time in the world that zero was recognized as a number of its own, as both an idea and a symbol.

If you talk about a kingdom inside Indian subcontinent, that kingdom never had represent India. India is a British creation.

India only recently send a probe to Mars. And they are already claiming their probe as more advance than the American probe that was sent up at the same time.

Tipu Sultan's troops rout your favorite masters the British using rockets in 1780 at the Battle of Guntur. The closely massed, British troops broke and ran when the Mysore army laid down a rocket barrage in their midst.

integration, logarithms, power series ...
almost the entire world of mathematics came from india, not just zero(which is the most valuable contribution)
the west copied and plagiarized our ideas. like how china has been doing today[/quote]

Mysore Kingdom was an Indian kingom just as much as France was an European kingdom. India and Europe are both geographical areas.

 India invented maths? Suuuure you did lol. In your pipe dreams that is.

There wasn't a thing called India back then and subcontinental people were living inside caves back then.

Arabs and Persians invented most of the maths in this world.

You Indians have been brained washed by your religious nutjobs and historians.

Grow up.
