German brain cannot be compared to some one who is into reverse engineering. Germans are one of the most disciplined people i have ever met. What perverted logic is there to be offended over visa refusal?? Under the charter of UN any country reserves the right to refuse a visa without offering an explanation. There is no point in being offended unless someone is narrow minded enough. Indian none the less also got its chance of fair play. Hundreds are being refused US visa on daily basis should they stage mass protests outside US embassy??

I would still say that the Chinese worked really hard to attain this position of strength and envy. And to be honest, if China was not there we Indians would never have thought of progressing.
Examples with China obsession in India-

Bombay will be Beijing.
CWG will be better than Beijing games.
Our manufacturing base will soon be larger than Chinese.
We produce more intellectual goods and not cheap goods as Chinese do.
ETC ETC ETC.

For attaining power and importance we will have to clear this corruption with in us, these termites of politicians are a curse on us.
Till then there is no doubt that China is way ahead of us.

Yeah there was a good article and discussion on this forum 'Chinese insularity and Indian insecurity'.
Although you can't really blame us for that since relatively speaking India is not as big a player on the global stage as the likes of Japan, Russia, France etc. India is China's largest trading partner but then again who isn't? Here in the UK more attention is paid to India and that's mainly due to the historical connection between the two, what with India being a former colony and part of the commonwealth.
