But what you don’t see is India gets brought into publicly stating it’s position, and isn’t able to deflect the question. It goes on record as not falling in line, which will make it a “partner nation” and never an “ally”, with the limits of international support that implies.

IK moves were meant to not put down Pakistan so much but to put India on the spot and under an international microscope; so the West will ask itself is India worth loses the lives of our servicemen and women over?

Then we are okay being partner nations, instead of being "allies". We know how US treats it's allies, so...

No one cares about IK, no one listens to him anywhere except in Pakistan and a few in India. :yu:
US and India are mature nations, our bilateral ties stand on their own merit.

how does any of that matter?0 impact on India's foreign policy&it's relationship with US/Russia.India will deal with Russia&Ukraine independently and give assistance to both as it suits our national interest.

we are doing Just fine meanwhile Ik is being exposed

That conference ended very coldly with Austin staying put and not walking over to shake the Indian rep's hand. Blinken went over, seems like a split.
Anyway not much else to add.

US is not a monolithic, there are many influential and/or vocal people (such as the woman on Tucker Carlson show) that don’t see eye to eye with India or its culture, especially as more nativist sentiments get expressed and could gain more influence when the republicans take back congress in this years elections.

When Indian national interests don’t suit American national interests it becomes an American problem.

Well despite my hatred for India, today I have to admit that no SERVING Indian General can DARE TO TOPPLE AN ELECTED GOVERNMENT OF INDIA ! NO SERVING INDIAN GENERAL CAN DARE MEET FOREIGNERS WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF THE GOVERNMENT. NO INDIAN GENERAL CAN DARE OPENLY DISCUSS FOREIGN POLICY IN INDIA !!!

But this is the norm in any progressive country world wide ...nothing unique or something to boast about.

You guys have to bring back Imran in power, without support of establishment, in majority....and I bet Pakistan and South Asia will see a new chapter.

It's better than going to foreign soil and say we have 40000 armed terrorists in our country ,we had trained terrorists on our soil ,right?

Well technically you can't say that when terrorists have their own political party and then rule the country

Like in your case
