Small country like Pakistan have stopped Indian misadventures after introduction of it's Nukes. First strike threat allow Pakistan to keep India at bay successfully.

My post was in response to post#3 where the poster claimed India is upping the nuclear arms race where it was evident that pakistan has the fastest growing nuclear stockpile. India is only conducting test of its delivery systems which pakistan does as well...as recently as feb 2021 where y'all tested the ghaznavi

Just fear mongering from those who are sitting on stockpile of thousands of nukes.

Most of those are a result of the cold war. Except for US & Russia, the others posses only a few hundred

It's not about poor or rich.... It's who has got the more fissile materials in hand and have constant access to it and that is with Pakistan....

North Korea is economically very poor but they are still bigger nuclear power than India with missiles capable of hitting India with accuracy.... India doesn't have such longer range missiles even after having a bigger economy....

It's a well known fact that India is the smallest nuclear power in the world....

How does that explain china being the second largest country has only 250 nukes!! It depends on how many one is willing to build and for both India or china and even for pakistan for that matter...we have more than what we need for our respective adversaries...

No one is denying that India doesn't have enough material...it's just that we don't use all or most of the material for weaponization unlike y'all

Just Assumptions, not facts. In fact India produces way more enriched nuclear material than Pakistan. probably 10 times more. The international reports are based on a number of centrifuges accounted for. The number of nukes is way way more than just 150 or 160 as stated but their delivery systems are limited.

India has a total of 22 reactors most of them breeders compared to 4-5 on the other side. Do the math. Also these don't include smaller breeders used only for enriched uranium that don't come under IAEA. Check out mysore complex expansion in the last few years.
