Most of the Chinese I know never talk about politics . Chinese in this forum have the peer pressure to support the Pakistanis. There are also a few Indian and chinese flamers who influence other sensible members.

Let me tell you a story told to me by someone.

Once upon a time there was peace between chinese and indians were peaceful on PDF but then their was a chinese member i forgot the name and there was some one called communist they both started with the toilet thingy and since then even the saner members have got their hands dirty with crap.

And i just dont blame chinese alone. we indians arent saint either.

5% is rather a modest number. believe me its more than that. I will know how racist Chinese are only if i can read Mandarin and start reading Chinese forums.

thanks for your concern for the air condition in Beijing. Dust storms from Mongolian steppe blow Beijing a couple of times every year. it is terrible but it has been there for millions of years and there is nothing we can do to stop it. for the rest of the time, the air condition is OK and there is no such thing as " a smog cover all the day" in beijing. Actually you can the blue sky of Beijing around a hundred day every year. Beijing is being deindustrialized since mid-1980s, since when the pollution and water consumption is decreasing constantly.

there is a cut in traffic because there are too many cars in beijing. a city with 19 million population has 5 million cars, the number of which is still rising exponentially. the vehicle traffic is not only restricted in Olympics and also still restricted at present.

Beijing and Shanghai are more clean, tidy, and safe than most big cities in the west. i have never been to mumbai, so i won't compare.

Beijing is in fact so polluted that there is a smog cover all the day - even in Mumbai you don't have that.

During the Beijing Olympics they had to drastically cut down the vehicle traffic so that the people from other countries don't die of pollution.

there are many racists on chinese forums despite racism being officially banned.

however, in india you will never see people lick white man's boots. you see this in china. you will never see indians call for their own country to get nuked by the US. there are people in china who seriously believe that the best thing in the world is for the US to nuke China (but not them individually of course). you will never see indians claim, with total seriousness, that they are genetically inferior to whites. you will never see indians claim that, if the US/Japan/Russia invaded tomorrow, they will spit on their flag and pick up arms against the government and even shoot their family if necessary. There are no self hating indians. there are at least 30 million self hating chinese who wish they were white KKK members killing Chinese. it is the same thing as Jews who sent other Jews to the gas chambers in WW2.

so racism in china is understandable. it is a natural reaction to traitors by people whose way of life and dignity are under attack. india has no traitors. even the maoists don't actively say they want China to nuke India.

In India when people are running after the west it is not about being genetically inferior. It has more to do with the attraction of luxury and the life style. There is a perception that you go US and become a millionaire in certain set of people. Indian police system is pathetic with lots of bribery. Its just people get more attracted with the life style of west which looks like free sex, hangouts, efficient political system. I dont deny the fact though that there are western appoligizers but they are not because of anything genetic....
