I guess Barak 8 is being used only for Maritime defense by us. S-400/AAD/PAD/Akash and a range of other systems are for land defenses

Wiki also shows Barak8 is currently only being used by our Naval Platforms

Incorrect. Barak -8 would be used by all three services (Indian Army, Navy and Airforce).
