India should have annexed Bangladesh: Assam BJP MLA

Can Muslim Bangladeshi accept India born Bengalis who believe in Hindu? Do you think racial unification is more important than religious difference?

Seventy percent Hindu and 27% muslim in West Bengal state.
North Korean and South Korea was seperated by different political ideology. And you and West Bengalis was seperated by religious difference.
That's why we don't allow spreading religion publicly in China. It will tear country apart.

It's desperate when different religious believer with same ethnicity killing each other.

Most importantly, UN would have never recognized such a forceful annexation of a country against the wishes of it's population.75 million people would have turned hostile immediately and any armed struggle of them against the occupying Indian army would have gotten widespread international support as the legitimate independence struggle.
True that UN wouldn't have recognized it but as we have seen so many times that UN's stance can become a non factor. Russia seized Crimea from Ukraine and though UN hasn't recognized it, it hardly matters bcuz Russia is powerful. The sanctions only came bcuz US(a superpower) and other Western European countries(also relatively powerful) oppose that move by Russia. Otherwise UN wouldn't have been able to anything whatsoever...not even sanctions.

Other examples being UN condemning the genocide in Myanmar but not being able to do anything about it forcefully(sending peacekeepers), Palestine is an example and so is Kashmir, UN was against the invasion of Iraq since UN inspectors found no evidence of WMDs, etc.

In the end if UN's stance doesn't have the support of powerful countries behind it...it can become a non factor...and it has more to do with the way UN was designed to operate.

It was really just two key factors that mattered most...the threat from China and US(and by extension the rest of US allies like Western European countries). The second factor was massive resistance and guerilla warfare India would've had to face if it did occupy forcefully making it not worthwhile.

I completly disagree with you that different religion leads to teardown of a country... what is the reason of having taiwan and China... it is always the struggle to have power which leads to unification/bifurcation of countries

Just think about when China have half Christianity and half Muslim, shit will happen.

For 900% sure.

There are 20 millions Muslim and 50 millions Christians &Catholics in China. The rest are either Buddhist and Taoist, or non-believers.

We cannot reconcile ourselves to the idea of a world without God owing to our traditions, culture and above all, our helplessness. Only when Man will fully realise the sense of his existence, we shall not require any God to be in our words and deeds. And the world will be better off without it.

Pakistan should annex India for betterment of south asia

The power of religion is way beyond your imagination.

It is a law that teaches people how to behave and live their life.

And how to reconciliate the religious law with the secular law?

It had more to do with other factors than just religion.

Bengal was ruled by Muslim rulers before their defeat by the british (by pure luck - rain soaking Nawabs gun powder - while british got saved hiding in orchards)... at the Battle of Plassey.

Thus started the downfall of bengali muslim.

Opression, economic n social sowed resentment... Bengali muslims became peasants ruled by hindu landowners etc.

Since you do not follow any religion I dont think that you understand its true potential... for u democracy is a waste and for me autocracy... we have seen that boundries do keep changing and no empire last for eternity...

Every country is busy in strenghtening itself on the basis of its priorities...

I think the legislator is just telling a big joke to draw attention.

If you are talking about BJP legislator than yes... he is just trying to tell his people that ILLIGAL BD people are a mance due to congress...

Even its own people would b laughing at him...

Bold part: You are very correct on this historical truth that the afternoon rain damped the Nawab's gunpowder, but did not cause similar effects on the British side. By this, you can see how unplanned our people always have been!! The Battle of Plassey was fought on 23 June, 1757. June is always a rainy season, but the military officers in the Nawab camp did not see a probable rainfall and did not prepare a contingency plan.

They did not bring in any thick sheet covers to save the arms and powder. Was it because of the mistaken faith matter that God always sides with the Muslims? Anyway, this inability to provide shelter above against the rainfall caused Bengal and subsequently the entire Hindustan to lose its independence.
