what i am saying is,,bright young ones r'nt attracted to medicine nemore

i am saying you dont need your bright young men/women to get into medicine.. most bsc graduate who get first class will do pretty decent if they get into medicine... but its too expensive and not enough seats...
its a supply and demand issue... we have massive short supply in number.... its only when medical seats become vacant i will worry about things you say.(not denying its a problem too)

Anyways, coming back to original topic. My family is full of doctors and if you consider Dentists as Doctors then my wife is one as well.
The problem in India is, first of all there are no new Government colleges are coming from long time. Privatization of MBBS/BDS education is very difficult affair as college should have its own hospital and many others. Government seats are less and half of them eaten by Reservations. Private schools take a lots of money and current rate is 2 Crore INR for MBBS Degree entrance forget other fees. So Doctors coming out are there to earn money so malicious practice became nothing new.
