Yar 180-220 Mk2 are not possible before 2025-2028.
New prototype is in process and will induct in 2015 according to IAF.
So hardly 40MK2 are possible before 2020..

read my post again.. 2016 is the date when prototypes of MK2 will start testing... 2018 is IOC date with FOC by 2020... and going by rate of production i think by 2025 Indian Air force will field around 200 MK2 and 40 MK1(likely to be upgraded)

I agree that 200 MK2 tejas is imossible by 2025 bearing in mind FOC of MK2 by 2018

MORE likely 120 MAX pehaps only 100

250 JFT mk1 & 2 & 3 thunder by 2020 LIKE SOME pdf posters is also impossible

YOU cannot give a new fighter 2 new block upgrades FULL TEST TO FOC and license build 200+ in just 8 years more likely 15 years

How long is it going to take to fully induct this plane? It is almost 30 years but still no FOC. We completed Thunder in less than a decade and moving on to Block 2 but this this plane of yours is no where to be seen fully operational. Indians sure are incompetent.

first,thunder isnt ur plane,its an chinese one,u havent designed a single piece of it

The developement of tejas started only in 1993 ..So it is just 19 years not 30...
Now as for thunder you should first read about the Super-7 upgrade china started in 1986....

We Indiots are so incompetent we can't even design a plane properly. Even our own Airchief has called our LCA, MiG-21++ aircraft.

lol tests tests and more tests. Keep on testing it. LCA doesn't even have a radar. If LCA is going to be inducted without a radar after all these years then IAF is going to be laughing stock of the world. Funny thing is even the Radar is going to be foreign, not Indian, but still delay, delays and more delays.

It started in those years without Pakistan. It started with Pakistan signing for the program only after the year 2000. Only after Pakistan showed interest the program became active. What was Indian politicians and scientists doing from 1983 to 1993? Playing with their wifes? If your dumb scientists spend more time in workshops and less time in bedrooms then LCA would be fully operational and India will have less population.

the basic thing is, they are developing tejas to take F-16's JF17's head on. That's why Kaveri engine was designed to produce 125kN thrust and super cruise without afterburners which is still under development. due to this, project is eating time.
