India’s secret ICBM ambitions

Agni 5 is speculated by other countries analyst of being ICBM and that India ad understated the range and that the actual range is 8000 km. The published range by DRDO and the government is 5500 Km with that being said, I don't feel India currently needs a missile that has range greater than that of agni 5.
why is the ACTUAL range so different from the PUBLISHED? what's the max effective load under 5500km , and 8000 km mode?

I am guessing 2 ton is for 5500 km and 500 kg is for 8000 km. They are planning on testing a canister version in December and maybe MIRV with it. It was reported that the missile can carry 3 MIRV so I am guessing one MIRV of being 500kg or something along those line.

Wawa wuwu, Indians should develop its own weapons then constantly whine about how others would not share technology with you guys. Grow up for once.

wawa wawu-...hmmm..when did you start barking?

Since the title of this thread is "India Is Developing Its First “Real” ICBM" then all the previous missiles that India "build" were "FAKE".

tunda ki dhardi mein tinka

Actually, I'm just learning about your culture from you. How you associate sound with animal sound.
For the last twenty posts you have just been going around barking that India does not have ICBM / deliverable nukes. Do you have any citation to back it up, or is it just an endless loop?

He would not, @faithfulguy is a well known troll,he started to troll by saying that Agni.V doesnt have MIRV capability & India doesnt have nuclear warheads.

Now,as Indian members have posted enough proofs for 'MIRVs on A 5 & Indian nuclear warheads',he will start to talk cr@p like 'India poor' 'India superpower movie' :blah:

So before that all were Russians? being assembled in India with Russian help????
Don't spew crap like an imbecile, as you usually do. The Agni series of missiles are indigenous. Period!

Seems someone's a$$ is up in flames...:smokin:

India has no miniaturize warheads. So even if it develop an ICBM, there is no warhead to mount on it. A Hiroshima type bomb is all India have.

First of all, Agni-V is not MIRV capable. Also, India has no miniaturized warheads. So it would need to put a Hiroshima size bomb in the missile. The missile is not going to fly that far. No wonder India could not develop MIRV and needs a heavy weight missile for a shorter distance attack.

How do you know that? Had Manhohan singh told you that?

I think you should learn to comprehend a reply which was given to a particular comment and stop trolling and derailing threads.

In another word, India do not have a real deterrant until a warhead is mounted on there. And India has no such warheads. So India has no real deterrant.

Look at the size of the Indian TN device fitted in a 3.0 ft length by 1 to 1.5 ft dia cylinder. How ever you can continue your rant. This is what we can expect from brainless people like you. Basically it is not your fault. All of your countryman are worst than what you are. It seems that your migration to US has make you a little batter Human being than brethren. If you are not totally dumb like your brethren, I hope that you will be able to calculate on your own that how many TN devices can be fitted in a 2.0 diameter Agni III and V.

Any one can change anything in wikipedia. So wikipedia is not a reliable source. Here is how you can find something from a reliable source

What To Make of India’s Nuclear Forces | Flashpoints | The Diplomat

To be sure, India has a long way to go before it can be confident in deterring, say, China with a fleet of nuclear-powered, nuclear-armed submarines, or SSBNs. For now, its sole SSBN, is basically a technology demonstrator. It's not clear if the INS Arihant, notionally launched in 2009, will ever really conduct deterrent patrols.

And there are serious technical challenges ahead in arming this vessel or the 3-6 such boats the Indian Navy hopes for in its future fleet. As Andrew Winner has asked, can India miniaturize a nuclear warhead to fit these relatively small missiles, and can it do so without further nuclear testing? Is New Delhi stuck with the relatively modest range of this armament? And what does that mean for its ability to genuinely deter China, given the risks of having to patrol close to the Chinese coast in some hypothetical future crisis?

But the blog is not reliable sourceas well. However, the blog site the following book, which is a reliable source. The source state that India has no miniature warhead to put on missiles.

No Indians had posted anything besides wikipedia or Indian press, which is not reliable. My comments above are from a books. They clearly state that India has no miniaturization tech for nuclear warheads.
