India’s Frigate with BrahMos almost ready

Well, I do not know, No technology rules the world for Long... Same might be the case with Brahmos, But all I can Assure u is, Its pretty difficult to Chase down a Missile which is Not only highly sophisticated by its speed but also Maneuverability

I had seen this discussion in an another thread, how can a missile with supersonic/hypersonic missile can perform maneuvers without losing its velocity,I am not talking about the steep dive.

.
and once its out its going to Arihant. So just curios whats the problem in getting it in later classes of Ships...

K-15 a variant speculated to be that of the Shourya's which is going into Arihant, Never heard of any Developments for the Shourya On Ships... Well This Universal Brahmos Launcher can be equipped with Shourya If I am not wrong...

It has been proved to the world... It turns 90 degrees horizontally and Carries out the S maneuver, and Cruises over, do You still doubt its maneuverability ??

Yeah i also never heard something i like this but it would be good.

Is anybody sure about this ??

May I have a view of that law??

It's obvious. How can a thin body with a momentum vector in the positive X direction turn suddenly turn 90 degrees to another direction instantaneously? there is no mechanism for that. one, the continued momentum in the positive X direction means that the turn cannot be sharp, because the missile is moving forward at all times, and there is no thrust vectoring; even with thrust vectoring it can't turn like that! Second, there are no control surfaces in the world that could effect such a turn. Three, significant air drag exists at hypersonic speeds, and combined with forward momentum, means that all turns have to be wide and shallow.

Its still a convention not a concept.... BrahMos with advanced software that significantly increases the missile's operational effectiveness while used in littoral zone with huge number of islands. In particular, if attacked ship tries to use natural terrain relief and hide behind an island, the missile would be capable to execute maneuvers at supersonic speed and hit the target flying around the obstacle. And this has Been Proved.... Well If You ask me how, I am Not science Fellow....

wet dream in alaska!!!!

I am also confused about it,how can a missile with hypersonic/supersonic speed without loosing momentum can achieve a S maneuver, but since I also do not belong to science field ,I am not putting unnecessary pressure on my head and am ready to believe what is proved, and its a truth that once launched Brahmos is unmatched.

.
It will lose a certain amount of momentum but that doesnt imply it will not have the required impace kinetic energy
